People have talked about how amazing Invisible String Theory is
But they never talked about how painful its ending can become
When your strings are finally intertwined
But are destined to be cut,
Finally fulfilling one's role in each other's lives,
Then become someone whose footsteps you can easily recognize
A laughter which can make you glance twice
Just to see if the melody is theirs
A now stranger with memories you both once bonded
If your strings are meant to be
Does that mean we failed to properly tie its knot
To seal a fate so majestic?
