Seeing Aru get lost in the agonizing spiral of his thoughts, Ayu squeezed his hand, pulling him back to the present. He offered a simple request, a clear diversion from the hospital's stifling atmosphere.
Ayu - Beach chalein, please?
Aru looked at him, his eyes heavy with exhaustion and guilt. He couldn't understand why the boy wasn't rushing back to the man fighting for his life. Ayu understood the silence. He didn't force the issue, just reiterated the simple need.
Ayu - "We both need some fresh air."
Ayu didn't explicitly say they needed to escape the weight of the hospital, or that they needed to talk where the doctor's warnings couldn't be overheard, or that Abhi had asked him to distract Aransh. But Aru understood some talks—the necessary, difficult talks—couldn't happen there.
He had no energy to fight the boy's plea or his logic. Aransh simply shifted the car into reverse and began driving in the direction of the sea, seeking a brief, fragile moment of peace before facing the impossible choice ahead. ..
Time passed slowly on the beach side. The only sound was the rhythmic wash of the waves. Aru and Ayu sat on the shore, their knees drawn up, side-by-side. No one realized for how long they had been sitting there, simply gazing at the vast, indifferent sea. The endless expanse of water seemed calming, a deceptive peace that contrasted sharply with the turmoil inside—their hearts were bleeding.
Ayu waited patiently for Aru to speak, knowing the older man was grappling with unbearable guilt. But when he didn't, Ayu finally initiated the conversation, his voice soft against the roar of the surf.

Ayu - "Yahi late tha na Bhai aapko hamesha?
Aru turned, confused. The memory of his childhood visits to the seaside with Armaan was a deeply private one. "How did he know?"
Ayu understood the unspoken question.
Aru - "You knew about me?"
Ayu - Not from the start. I always knew that we are family.. of four.... normal family like any other house.... But... the day when I got to know about my identity and decided to leave, Bhaiyu had to break the barrier to stop me. And he revealed everything to me."
Aru’s eyes immediately filled with fresh tears. "Everything?"
Ayu sighed again and nodded. The truth of the adoption, the forced separation, the years of pain—it was a secret that Ayu also knows...
Ayu scooted closer to Aransh, his eyes conveying a plea for understanding.
Ayu - "Mujhe aapke baare mein pehle se nahi pata tha, buddy ....
