06. 𝑾𝒂𝒊𝒕 𝒘𝒉𝒂𝒕!?

[Kim Seoyeon's POV]

Sunoo, Jungwon, Haewon and I were chilling in the common room, waiting for the others to join us. We were sitting right beside the door, so the others would notice us immediately as they entered.

We arrived there early as we had the same class, along with Dahye as well, but she decided to join us later.

We didn't mind, because why should we?

If she doesn't want to spend time with us, that's completely up to her. We asked her to join but we declined.

Her lose.

It's never us excluding Dahye from anything, it's always her declining whenever we ask her to join us.

Saying stuff like, “oh maybe next time,” “not now, I'm busy,” “I’ll join next time.”

Feeling fed up, we stopped. Completely. Because it gets to a limit to try to include someone in activities only to be rejected by them every single time.

And what hurts the most is, she doesn't want to be included when it's me. She always manages to avoid things that include me in it. But she doesn't mind when it's all of us. Because obviously, that way, she wouldn't have to interact with me much.

I will genuinely never understand what issue she has with me. I tried many times to bond with her like I do with the other girls in the group, but I failed miserably every time.

So I just stopped.

Because life is full of side quests and I have zero energy in me to waste it on her bullshits.

I pulled out my phone from my bag, scrolling through my Instagram, and then I noticed Jake posted a story.

And what I saw made my heart swell.

It was a picture of him and Layla, his dog, the one I freaking adore so much.

I was grinning like an idiot that I didn't realize the dirty looks I was getting from Sunoo, Jungwon and Haewon.
