Reconnecting with the past

Deeks POV

It had been a while since we've seen our old friends. It felt like everything had changed. Kens and the kids were all packed up to go visit DC where we were spending our vacation. Eric and nell had decided to tag along this year since they were now a couple. We went to the airport and caught our flight and I drove down to the cabin where we met up with our friends. Our now 16 year old children were not into the idea of being without cell service and internet so they were all complaining.

Tali: daddy there are bugs out here. I seriously can't deal. I want to go home

Tony: this is a vacation for bonding

Tali: more like a vacation in hell. I see you everyday, why do we need to bond?

Heaven: ok, I am not sharing a room with the annoying princess over there. Brayden and I can sleep together

Heaven girls in one room boys in the next. There are three beds in the girls room and three in the boys room

Heaven: does this deserted place even have electricity?

Ziva: it does, and you've only seen outside. Go on in. We all walked inside the cabin and it was really nice inside. The kids went to put their stuff away then we all got ready for dinner and sat at the table

Kensi: is everyone having fun?

Heaven: ziva how do you take living with this girl? She complains about everything. Its so annoying. I'm going to sleep out here to avoid smothering her with a pillow

Kensi: heaven you need to be nicer to people. You don't always have to say what's on your mind

Ziva: I wanted to murder her the entire drive down here. She does complain a lot but never this much. Tali just needs to learn to live without internet because we'll be here all summer

Tali: what? You said one week

Ziva: I said that to shut you up. You'll like it here and maybe heaven will like you after this

Heaven: I love her she's like my best friend, but she's getting to me. When she stops being such a princess we could have some real fun here. I saw a trail out back. Where does that lead?

Tony: there's a pond down there. Ziva made that trail to go running

Kensi: that's great. 5am heaven

Heaven: I know. Mom since you'll eventually had to go back into town I'll need some stuff so I will write you a list

Ziva: only the guys are leaving to go into town write your list for your dad

Heaven: no, I'll pass on that

Nell: I need stuff from the store too so I can get what you need

Heaven: that would be great. This is the perfect place for me to use your gun dad.

That's never happening. Your 16 I'd perfer yo be int boys than guns

Kensi: she already knows how to use a gun and I used to be fascinated by funs at 16

And you decided too be sniper

Kensi: heaven has better aim than me with a gun and she has plans on being a navy seal

Tony: they don't let women do that

Heaven: things have changed. There starting to let women join by next year so I can do that and I will. It will be really cool training. Uncle sam says its not easy but I can handle anything

Kensi: you really think so?

Heaven: yeah, I do

She's just like you. Determined to be the best at everything a guy can do

Heaven: no, we're determined to be better and we are. Kensi responded: that's right babe. Haven flipped her hair back with her hands then looked over at Tj and said: ok why won't you stop staring at me? Your making me want to throw something at you

Tj: your really beautiful you know. Heaven rolled her eyes

Heaven: when will you stop staring at me? This isn't cute its creepy

Tj: when you stop being so pretty

Heaven: daddy

He isn't doing anything.

Kate: Kara why aren't you eating anything?

Kara: I don't want that

Heaven: I feel you kara. I'd rather pizza than a salad and whatever this thing is. Do you want pancakes?

Kara: yes

Heaven: kate when you make kara her pancakes make some for me and I'll need some bacon

Kate: why don't you make it?

Heaven: I'd end up accidently burning this cabin down if you put me in the kitchen

Kate: fine, but tomorrow your helping me make breakfast

Heaven: sure. Kate went and made pancakes and eggs and gave it to heaven and kara, but heaven handed hers over to Brayden. He won't complain but I know he doesn't want that either. We talked for a while then we all went to bed.
