Kate's POV

It had been three years since ziva and tony moved away. They came by once a year, just the two of them and we would all spend a week together on vacation. This year was different nobody could make it because of work or the children. We were apart for So long now it feels like our friendship bond was broken. It was Christmas day, our plans of meeting up in aspen did not go well so we decided to stay home with our family. We hadn't spoken to our friends in seven months. The women I call my sisters were now too busy to even talk. I was feeling down so to cheer me up castle took all of us ice skating.

Alexis: mater come on, itsd really fun on the ice. She pulled me closer and we all had a nice time skating around laughing

Kara: mommy this is fun

I know baby. We should do this more often

Alexis: kate can we talk? It won't take long I promise

Sure. Let's go find a seat. We went and sat down then alexis looked into my eyes and said: I love you kate, I know your not my mom, but you treat me just like you treat wyatt and Kara. Mm You've been the best mom to me and I want you to know that I appreciate and love you for it. She gave me a hug and years fell down my face then I replied: I may not have given birth to you but I do consider you my daughter and I love you too

Alexis: I thought you were going to think this was weird or something even though I know you love me

You are weird, but I love it now let's skate. We held hands and went back on the ice

Kensi's POV

I was excited to see ziva and Kate but I had to work last minute. That really sucked. Since its Christmas's hetty gave us time to spend with our kids. We were sitting out on the beach watching the waves crash ashore while we enjoyed a family picnic with my mom joining us

Julia: I'm glad to see your husband still makes you so happy kensi

He's gifted at that. Sweetie sand is not for eating, deeks please stop your son from swallowing sand

Deeks: buddy you heard mommy.

Brayden: sorry mommy. He sat on his dad's lap and hugged him. I love you daddy. Deeks replied I love you too little bear. Rhen he asked Who wants to go for a swim?

Later deeks I answered

Deeks: I have a better idea. You and I are going for a swim

I just fixed my hair so no. He picked memupp and I demanded he put me down but he never listens he carried me out far into the water then he leaned in and we shared a passionate kiss. You messed up my hair

Deeks: your still the most beautiful woman in the world to me. We continued kissing and stayed that way for a really long time then I went on his back and he walked us back to our kids. I knew you'd hae fun. He wrapped his arms around my waist. I could watch you for a single moment and think of a thousand reasons why I love you. He gave me a kiss then handed me a towel to dry off

Julia: after all this time together you guys are still so cute. Its adorable watching you. I get why your always so happy. This right here is the meaning of true love

Deeks: you brought her into the world so you played a big part in this. I love this woman with everything in me

I love you too. We should get some dry clothes from inside the house

Deeks: good idea. He picked me up and carried me inside . we were both laughing, having the best time together

Ziva's POV

I never celebrated Christmas as a child, but my twins were already accustomed to the holiday so I decided to surprise them with a whole day of Christmas fun. They were so excited when they woke up and saw the house all decorated and presents everywhere aid it was great watching them be so happy.

Tony: why are you smiling?

I'm happy

Tony: you are? After we lost the baby I never thought I'd see you sole like that

I was excited to be a mom again and another boy, you were extra excited about that. It was sad loosing him, I should have watched my step going down those stairs.

Tony: that wasn't your fault, some guy accidentally pushed you while running. Honey loosing the baby was not at alp your fault

I want us to move back to DC. Your job is there and its unfair to you flying back and forth. We can stay here in the summer with the kids

Tony: Tali and Tj love it here and they don't speak English at all anymore so it will be a big change, but I miss you so let's do it. He kissed me and we sat back and watched our children play

This is perfect. Just the four of us. Your dad is still asleep in his room. He's not used to the time difference

Tony: I'm a very lucky man. I have a beautiful, we have two amazing kids. You gave me something I really needed, family and love. I'd be lost without you. He pulled me on his lap and we kissed. I love you

I love you more. We continued kissing then the kids came over

Tj: this is really gross guys

Tali: normal people do that behind closed doors

We are in our house and the door is closed. There is nothing wrong with two married adults kissing. I love your dad

Tony: don't mind them. We turned away and continued kissing. A few seconds later we heard them leaving

Months had past. Tony and ziva were now back in DC, but the six friends seemed to loose contact and drift apart as time went by. Kare and rick stayed in new York. Tony and ziva stayed in DC and kensi and deeks stayed in LA
