Chapter 2: Star Butterfly's Food Fight

'Here I am all alone again.' As I wondered looking around at the school. It was already lunch time, so the best thing I could of do was find a place to sit, eat and relax I guess. I didn't wanna be that weird girl with no friends. I found an empty table next to the parking lot. I smiled as I rushed and sat down, taking out my food. "Wow mom, rice, chicken and mac'n cheese today? Nice!" I also took out an apple juice and saw a snack of doritos inside. I got my fork and began to eat. I heard music coming from the parking lot, I turned to see a weird guy sitting ontop of a car playing a keytar and singing random song I didn't know about. It was kinda horrible at first but then the lyrics were beginning to sound better. I went back to dine on my food, when all of a sudden that girl with blonde hair appeared outta nowhere!
"He's soo great isn't he?" She said swooned.

"Huh?" I replied confused.
"Oskar Greason..." She said swooned.

I watched as this Oskar guy sang.
"Mom, don't tell me what to do. I'll go live in my car at the school. Hey, hey!"
He wasn't half bad to say I thought taking another bite of my food.
"So I'm Star Butterfly! And you are?"

"(F/n) (L/n)." I mummbled.
"Oohhh, what are those!" Star came closer and gleamed.
"What? Doritos? You seriously don't know what are doritos?" I looked at her as if she weren't from this planet.
"Who and what are you?!" I exclaimed.
Star looked at me confused.
"I told you I'm Star Butterfly and I'm from Mewny. Oh! Mewny is a planet in another demension by the way." She smiled.
"Mewny?" I said. 'Is this girl crazy or something?'
She kept smiling at me, which made me feel alittle uncomfortable.
"Hey Star!" We heard someone shout.
We looked back to see Marco walking our way. 'Wow, even in the sunlight he was pretty handsome! Wait, why did I just think that?' I thought.
"Oh hey (y/n), seems you've met Star fully already. Did anything crazy happen yet?" Marco did a cautious pose and looked at Star.
I was so confused.
"Oh come on Marco! I'm not that dangerous or explosive!" Star patted Marco's back.

"Anyway...(Y/n) why aren't you eating in the lunch room?" Marco asked.

"Uhh, well. I kinda like sitting outside, where its...umm..Away from people!" I quickly suggested.

Marco looked at me confused. "Hey, come on! We'll show you around the lunch area and how fun it can be!" Marco tugged my shirt.

I sighed, packing up my lunch again and getting up following the duo.

~Lunch room~

"Wow this place is......lively." I said.

"I know right?! It's so full of people and full of food!" Star agreed, looking rather happy.

Star and Marco grabbed their trays full of lunch food, I was in the back following them.

"Hey there's Alfonzo and Ferguson!" Marco pointed to two guys sitting next to each other alone at a table. We walked right over to the two who seemed to be eating Macaroni and cheese and the other a turkey sandwich.

"Oh hey, Marco!" Ferguson said.

We all took our seats and began to eat away our food. "So what great mysteries and villains awaits the two of you now?" Alfonzo said.

"Forget that! Whose the new girl?" Ferguson said swooned, staring weirdly at me.

"Oh this is (y/n)." Marco said smiling.

"Hi (y/n)." Ferguson and Alfonzo said in unison.

"AHHHHHH!" Star screamed. The group all turned to Star and gave Star 'the whats the matter face'. "MARCO! I can't believe it! They didn't give me the bag full of the colorful rainbow beary things.

"You mean, gummy bears Star?" Marco sighed.

"Yeah those!" Star pouted and looked teary to Marco.

"Well, just go ask nicely for a bag of gummy bears." Marco facepalmed.

Star then agreed getting up, running back to food counter.

Meanwhile, it was just me, Marco, Ferg and Al. Ferguson took out a small portable game to show Alfonzo. While Marco was still eating, minding his own business. I moved a little to the side a bit, next to Marco. I was thinking what to say to him, until I blurted out something random. "So uh, Marco is Star like your girlfriend or something?" I said randomly, not actually paying attention to what I just said.

"Huh! No way! Me and Star are just best friends, plus to she's my roommate!" Marco replied. I gave him a confused look. "Let's just say my family is taking care of her as an 'exchange student'." Marco then continue to eat. I looked back at my food and thought to myself, 'Wait, so they're not together! PHEW! But hang on there're living under that same roof....but then again Marco said they were best friends. So I guess that means I have a chance?' I was then turning a little red as I could feel my face began blush. "Um, so Marco do you want to like hang out after school or something?" I quickly asked.

Marco looked at me and smiled. "Sure! This afternoon, we can head over to my house!" I then let out a small scream in my head. I shook my head and agreed with Marco, I then took another bite of my food. I almost had heart attack when Star came out of nowhere and surprise attacked me and Marco. "Hey! Guys I'm back!" She said showing us a bag of gummy bears. I sighed in relief and giggled a bit.

"HEY! STAR BUTTERFLOOP!" We heard someone say. There I saw a cheerleader with long black hair looking really angry. I then notice she had a juice stain on her outfit. Alfonzo and Ferguson hid under the table shaking. "Huh, whose that?" I asked Marco. "That Brittney Wong, shes the head cheerleader for Echo Creek's cheerleading squad." I looked at her, this girl looked like a higher up alright. She was probably rich to, the way she was acting. "Look what you did to my new outfit!" She said glaring at Star.

"Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry Brittney I didn't mean to! I'll fix it right away." Star then pulled out a weird circular wand with wings and a star design on it. "Springy, dreamy, dress all cleany! Transform!" Star shouted out as the wand began to glow and a light striked at Brittney Wong. Everything was so bright, until everything was clear again. But it seemed like the spell didn't work not making Brittney look anymore clean, but more messy. "AGHHHH! You idiot! You-you made everything even worst." Brittney shouted. The was stains all over her cheerleading outfit.

Brittney then picked up someones random mash potatoes and threw it at Star. "Look out!" Alfonzo shouted. I quickly duct down away from the fight. Star shot the mash potatoes away and smiled. "Look I'm really sorry Brittney! I didn't mean to get your outfi-" Star was then cut off to more food throwing. "Shut up! I don't want to hear it!" Food flew everywhere, until a certain person was then hit from the back of his head. It was Lars. He was big, mean and scary. Marco told me earlier to stay away from him. He then picked up his lunch and some random kid throwing the both of them at everyone.

After that everyone was in a big food fight. Marco grabbed my hand and pulled me underneath the table with him. Star looked like she was in her own world, dodging all the plates and food flying. Me and Marco crawled our way out the door.

~Outside the cafeteria~

"Phew." I said, breathing heavy a bit.

"Yeah, I'm glad we're out of that mess. Well Star can get out of that mess when shes ready, come on (y/n) lets go and find some place to sit and talk." Marco said walking away. I gladly followed him, I smiled feeling a little happy that Marco was actually a good caring person. We walked together down the hallways looking for a quite place.
