"Carrie, Carrie, Carrie," they chant. I feel so ecstatic in this moment. The worries seem to fade away as if I had suddenly become brainwashed. "How are we doing tonight, Nashville?!" I yell with a huge grin on my face. "Are you guys ready?" Thousands of screams assure me that it's my time to bring it! "Alright, this first song is one that I wrote for all those girls who fall for the bad boys!", I wink. The beginning of "Good Girl" begins to play and I start strutting across the stage. The crowd begins to dance and I can tell they are totally into it! It automatically puts me in my zone and I start moving my arms, microphone in hand. I pull the microphone close, "Hey Good girl, with your head in the clouds, I bet you I can tell you what you're thinking about." I start moving my right arm in a wave type motion over my head. Before I know it, the song is over and I run over to the drummer's platform to take a quick drink of water. Man, does water sound good after a song! My throat gets so dry so I need to have it around at all times!
