The morning sun peeked through Beomgyu's curtains, painting his room in soft gold.

His heart had been racing since dawn today was the day.

The day he would finally see Yeonjun again after three long, painful years.

He stood in front of the mirror, adjusting his beige jacket the one Huening Kai had picked for him.

His fingers trembled slightly as he fixed his hair, staring at his reflection. His eyes looked brighter, but his chest felt heavy.

"After three years..." Beomgyu whispered softly to himself. "I'm finally going to see you again, Yeonjun."

Behind him, Taehyung sat cross legged on the bed, smiling as he watched his little brother fuss over every tiny detail.

"You look so good, Beomgyu" Taehyung said with a warm grin.

Beomgyu turned and smiled shyly. "Thank you, hyung."

But Taehyung could see the nervousness behind that small smile.

He stood up, walked over, and placed his hands gently on Beomgyu's shoulders.

"Don't be nervous, okay? We're all with you. And no matter what happens, you'll be fine. You've waited for this moment just enjoy it." Taehyung said.

Beomgyu's throat tightened. He suddenly hugged his brother tightly. "Thank you, hyung... for everything."

Taehyung hugged back, patting his back gently. "Go get him, little bear."

Just then, Beomgyu's phone rang. He pulled away quickly and looked at the screen it was Huening Kai.

He picked up the call.
"Beomgyu! We're outside! Hurry up before Soobin gets grumpy again!" Huening Kai's cheerful voice rang through the phone.

Beomgyu laughed softly. "I'm coming!"

He hung up and turned to his brother one last time. "Bye, hyung."

"Good luck" Taehyung said with a proud smile.

Beomgyu ran downstairs where his mom and dad were sitting on the sofa, waiting for him.

His mom smiled lovingly. "Good luck, sweetheart. And... have fun, okay?"

His dad nodded. "We're proud of you."

Beomgyu's heart melted. "Thank you" Beomgyu said softly before walking out the door.

Outside, the car was already waiting. Soobin was in the driver's seat, looking cool as always.

Taehyun sat in the front passenger seat, while Huening Kai waved from the back seat like an excited child.

Beomgyu opened the door and got in beside Huening Kai.

"There's our star!" Huening Kai teased with a big grin. "Ready to see your Yeonjun?"

Beomgyu blushed instantly. "Stop calling him my Yeonjun!"

Huening Kai laughed and hugged him from the side. "Aww, don't be shy. You look amazing, by the way. He's going to faint when he sees you."

"Huening..." Beomgyu groaned, hiding his red face in his hands.

Soobin looked at them through the rear view mirror, a small smile tugging at his lips. "You okay, Beomgyu?"

Beomgyu nodded slowly. "Just... nervous. I haven't seen him in so long. What if he doesn't recognize me?"

Taehyun turned his head slightly. "He will" Taehyun said simply. "Trust me. Some people you just can't forget."

Huening Kai grinned and patted Beomgyu's shoulder. "And besides, even if he doesn't recognize you at first, your dramatic tears will make him remember real fast."

"Kai!" Beomgyu pouted, but everyone laughed, easing the tension in the car.

The rest of the drive was filled with teasing, laughter, and random music from Huening Kai's playlist.

But deep down, Beomgyu's mind was somewhere else already imagining Yeonjun's face, his smile, his voice.

After some time, the city lights grew brighter, and the traffic thicker.

They were near the concert venue now. Posters of Yeonjun's group decorated the walls and lampposts, fans with lightsticks and banners already gathering in long lines.

Beomgyu pressed his face slightly to the window, his eyes wide. His heart swelled with pride.

"He really made it..." Beomgyu whispered softly.

They parked and joined the crowd. The air buzzed with excitement, people chanting Yeonjun's name, holding signs that read.

'We love you Yeonjun!' and 'You're our dream!'

Inside, the arena was massive lights flashing, music thumping, and thousands of fans cheering.

Soobin, Taehyun, Huening Kai, and Beomgyu found their seats, and Beomgyu's hands were shaking slightly as he held the ticket.

"Hey" Soobin whispered, leaning closer. "Breathe. You're okay."

Beomgyu nodded, inhaling deeply, clutching the edge of his jacket.

The lights dimmed. The crowd screamed. The bass of the music vibrated through the floor.

And then-

A single spotlight lit the stage.

Yeonjun walked out.

He looked powerful, confident, and breathtaking, dressed in a black outfit that shimmered under the lights, his black hair slightly tousled, his fox-like eyes intense yet soft. The crowd went wild.

Beomgyu's breath caught.

For three years, he had seen Yeonjun only through screens.

But now, seeing him there real, alive, smiling it was almost too much.

The music started, the first notes of "Ghost Girl."

Yeonjun began to sing, his voice deep and beautiful, filled with emotion.

Beomgyu couldn't move. He just sat there, frozen, eyes locked on him.

Every word, every movement, every smile hit him like a wave.

Beomgyu's eyes filled with tears. He didn't even realize he was crying until Huening Kai gently handed him a tissue.

"You okay?" Huening Kai whispered softly.

Beomgyu nodded weakly, wiping his tears, a trembling smile on his face.

"He is singing so beautifully..." Beomgyu whispered.

Soobin, Taehyun, and Huening Kai watched silently, feeling the weight of that moment.

They knew how much this meant to Beomgyu.

When the chorus hit, Yeonjun smiled that same small, smile Beomgyu remembered.

For a moment, Beomgyu felt like Yeonjun was singing directly to him.

"Three years..." Beomgyu whispered under his breath, voice trembling. "Three years, and you still make me feel the same."

As the song ended, the crowd roared, lights flashing everywhere.

Yeonjun bowed slightly, his chest rising and falling as he caught his breath.

Beomgyu couldn't stop smiling through his tears.

He didn't know if Yeonjun could see him in that sea of faces, but his heart whispered, 'I'm here, Yeonjun. I never forgot you.'

And in that moment, Beomgyu realized no matter what happened next, no matter how long it took, seeing Yeonjun like this was enough to make every tear, every wait, worth it.

Because finally, after all this time, he saw the boy who once hugged him, who once dreamed with him and now, that boy had become everything he said he would be.
