I'm Not Scared
I'm not scared
It's true, I'm fine
The dark is okay, that I don't mind
Monsters, no problem
Death, piece of cake
I'm not the one with boots starting to quake
I'm not afraid
I promise, I can't lie
Tonight is safe, nobody will die
Candles glow brightly
Half smiles aren't frightening
There aren't creepy storms,
no rain, no lightening
I'm not scared
Though my heart's pouding loudly
My eyes are wide, people racing about me
I open my mouth, but before I can scream,
the ghost at the door yells,
"Happy Halloween!"
