In first period Mora and Cece are talking, Ceces voice is loud and Mora is working while listening. On the other side of her is Roy who is also doing his work.
"No talking during this assignment please" Mrs. Tirens speaks
"Girl. It's not serious" she says rolling her eyes and stops talking
Mora drops her pencil and it rolls under Roy's desk
He looks under the seat and reaches for it but it moves farther away.
"Oh-"
"Um-"
"Uh"
They both get up... then see the other person is up, so they both sit down
They look at each other for a while before laughing quietly
"I'll get it" Roy smiles getting up and handing it to her
"Thank you..you didn't have to do that"
"It's honestly no problem." He smiles and they put their attention back on their papers.
Desperate to continue the conversation Roy asked "H- hey you are a dancer right?"
"Mmh oh yeah. I am, I'm in the school's dance team" she says nervously "I'm not that good though"
"You are.- I I- I mean last year I just happened to be at the nationals- in the crowd of course and I saw you. You're like the best one there" he says nervously tapping his feet
She blushes "Thank you" then she notices his foot "Are you ok"
He follows her eyes to his feet and stops tapping them. "Oh yeah, it's nothing sorry"
"You don't have to apologize" she smiles nervously "it's ok to be nervous, though I'm not sure what about"
Say it! Say it! Come on show your interest he says to himself
"How can I not be when I'm talking to a beautiful girl"
She blushes "i-I um-"
"CAN YOU NOT HEAR THERE IS OTHER PEOPLE TALKING NOT JUST ME!" Cece yells as their attention diverts to her
"DONT EVEN IM SWITCHING CLASSES" she gets up walks out and slams the door
Mora looks at Roy in embarrassment "Sorry for her"
"It's ok she has a colorful personality I don't mind it, plus drama makes a class not boring"
"And um cu- cute boys do too" she smiled
He blushed hard "Can I have your number"
She nods and gives it to him

After class they walk out together he looks up at her and notices her makeup melting off
"Oh your- hey is that a mark on your face?- Oh is that rude to point out" Roy looks hesitant
"Really you can see it!"
She pulls out her phone mirror "Oh no no no- I'm sorry I have to go cover this up I'll see you later though" She walks away and Roy is met by Piper
"I see you're getting friendly with her," she says holding his hand
"Oh yeah! She's so cute I can die! And her hand is so warm- "Piper pulls her hand away
"You held her hand-"
"Not exactly but I gave her her pencil back and I can feel the-"
"Take a day of work please," she says holding his hand again playing with it
He blushes "I can't, me and Josè are moving motels and I have to pay my part for the week of however many days...."
She looks him in the eyes her face saddening and her body moving closer to him
He stops talking and blushes more "ok I'll talk to Josè about it.."
"Thank you"
"Mmhm"
