After a lengthy explanation about her world and how all of them existed as shows, movies, and Lego sets in her reality, the group had taken the revelation surprisingly well.

"I'm still not sure how I feel about being made of plastic," Cole said thoughtfully, flexing his very real fingers with a puzzled expression.

"Are you kidding? That's awesome!" Jay exclaimed, practically vibrating with excitement. "We must have the coolest action figures! I bet mine has light-up effects!"

"Obviously I'd be the main protagonist," Kuwabara declared, practically glowing with pride while his friends collectively rolled their eyes.

"Yeah, keep dreaming, numbskull," Yusuke muttered, earning a laugh from Hiei.

The group broke into smaller conversations about the bizarre implications of being fictional characters in another dimension. Krista sat slightly apart from the main crowd, the black kitten she'd named Layla purring contentedly in her lap. She picked halfheartedly at the bowl of ramen Pigsy had made for her, still trying to process everything.

The reality was finally sinking in-this wasn't a dream, hallucination, or coma-induced fantasy. She was actually here, surrounded by characters she'd only ever seen on screens or in books. Part of her was internally fangirling, but a larger part felt mortified that she'd made such a terrible first impression by running away and having a breakdown in front of half of them.

"Whatcha thinking about, Blossom?"

Krista nearly launched herself into orbit at the unexpected voice. Turning left, she found herself face-to-face with the Monkey King himself-golden fur that seemed to shimmer with its own inner light, and those impossibly bright amber eyes that held centuries of mischief.

"Whoa there! Sorry about that, didn't mean to spook you," he said with that trademark grin that could charm anyone.

"I-it's fine," she stammered, feeling her cheeks heat up.

Wukong chuckled, the sound rich and warm. "You're pretty cute when you're flustered," he observed, which only made Krista's face burn brighter.

"Would you quit bothering her, you show-off?" Macaque appeared on her other side, his dark presence creating an interesting contrast to Wukong's radiant energy.

The two legendary monkeys locked eyes in a silent staring contest loaded with centuries of complicated history, their tension palpable until-

CRASH!

Tables and chairs went flying as yet another guild brawl erupted across the room.

"Ugh, does it always have to be this loud?" Macaque winced from the loud chaos, dodging a chair that sailed dangerously close to his head.

Krista nodded sympathetically, watching Natsu and Gray exchange fiery punches while Yusuke and Kuwabara jumped into the fray with obvious enthusiasm.

"This is definitely going to be a regular thing around here," she thought with resignation.

MK carefully navigated around the chaos and slid into the seat across from them. "You doing okay?" he asked with genuine concern.

Krista nodded, absently stroking Layla's soft fur. The kitten's purring was oddly comforting. "It's just... a lot."

"Tell me about it. We were all pretty shell-shocked when we first got dropped here too," MK said with understanding.

"Do you have any idea how it happened?" she asked hopefully.

MK shook his head. "Not really. One second we were going about our normal day, then there was this insanely bright light, and boom-we're in a completely different world." He gestured at the ongoing chaos. "Same story for everyone else we've talked to."
