There a tons of things that have value, but there are some things that have more value than other things.
INFO can be valuable.
FAMILY can be valuable.
LIFE can be valuable.
However, without fail, the most valuable thing in this world...is money.
It's to be expected.
Everything, no matter how valuable, can be bought with money; Trusted info can be bought out of someone price, family can be bought, and the life of someone can be taken away by someone else for the right price. It's the sad and cold truth that this is a rich man's world. However, there was something that had the same value of money in this world; FACTORS.
Factors are abilities that a good sum of the people are born with. They should develop at the age of six or seven, being illustrated as a unique black marking that appears on someone's body—some even give unique traits. The abilities that are given to you are unique, somewhat unpredictable, and extremely dangerous at times. The development of Factors were welcomed, but people remained cautious of them—especially the ones that didn't develop one of their own.
It's a reasonable reaction, especially since not EVERYONE wants to use their Factors for the good of SOCIETY.

A black, armored van sped down an empty road in the darkness of the night—the night sky gleaming with thousands of faraway suns. "How much longer till we reach this party?" A male in the backseat asked with a smile as he repeatedly flipped a golden coin in the air before catching it. _____________________________ VISUAL:
