It had been quite a while since Belle and Jean had their......romantic evening together. Their love was still kept hidden, a wild secret that they couldn't let a single soul know about. They were scared of telling people for multiple reasons, and it was fair play.
Belle had just come back from a little trip she made on her motorcycle, cruising through the city with her badass style, waiting for an opportunity to take or destroy something worth catching the eyes of the entire city. She unfortunately didn't find anything fun or amusing in that sense. She had to come home early anyway, she wasn't feeling well. When she awoke this morning, she felt sick. She thought it to be nothing and brushed it off best she could to carry on with her day since it rarely happened anyway. The longer she stayed out and active trying to ignore it, the worse it got until she finally gave into her body's plea. She drove back on her motorcycle feeling nausea and dizziness. She's lucky she could focus on the road.
She came through the door rather quickly, placing her sunglasses on a little stool near the entrance.
The men of the group were gathered at the dining table, playing a card game and gambling a bit, enjoying taunting each other playfully and making a little extra cash. There was laughter, fallen coins under the table, and the scent of strong cologne in the air.
Belle came into the room casually, going to pour some water for herself.
Jean glanced at Belle in a manner that was also casual, so not to make himself seem suspicious to his friends at the table. "Enjoy your little morning outing?", he asked curiously.
"Not so much. There wasn't anything thrilling like I had hoped.", she replied in an average tone.
Jean slightly tilted his head, still looking at her. "That's a bummer."
"Yep.."
Belle slowly walked out of the room headed towards the staircase to go to her bedroom, lightly sipping on the water as she did so.
Jean watched carefully, an inner feeling a bit off for him but he doesn't know why...
Stronghold slightly slammed his fist on the table, jerking Jean back to reality. "Hey, you ready to get back to the game now??", he asked. Jean gently nodded in response, staying silent and thinking.
Upstairs, Belle nearly finished her cup of water, placing the glass next to the lamp on her bedside table. She sat there on her bed feeling mixed emotions, it was all weird for her. Why wasn't she feeling well? What could've caused it? Different thought rushed through her head and her breathing quickened like her heart knew something her brain didn't. "Okay, let me think, over everything...", she whispered out loud to herself. She sat there, contemplating everything that happened as far back as she could.
All of a sudden the thought struck her like lightning to the heart. She felt her stomach start to ache and she got a sudden rush of heat, anxiety causing it all. "No no no no no no no....", she said to herself. "It can't be!"
She rushed into her little bathroom area and opened a drawer from the sink. After a few moments of rummaging through it, she pulled out a small white box. It was a pregnancy test. She opened up the box and carefully laid everything out on the sink.
After taking the test and waiting anxiously and impatiently for the results to come back, it was finally time to check them. Belle stopped pacing her room, took a deep breath, and slowly headed back into the bathroom area.
"I can't do this! What if I am pregnant?! Then what?!"
She took another deep breath, picking up the test but not looking at it just yet. She hesitated for a few moments and then finally thought it was time to look. Her eyes roamed over the test quickly, taking in every detail of the results. It was true.......she had conceived.....she was carrying Jean's child, and it shocked her......
She slowly collapsed onto the bathroom floor, sitting there on her knees with wide eyes and mouth agape.
How was she going to tell Jean?! Eventually her friends would see her growing baby bump and get curious on who the father was and why she kept everything hidden for so long! She was torn between everything, and it caused her to start crying for the first time since she was a child.
