I feel shaking. Shaking like your on a bumpy roller coaster. Shaking like...
"Gwen!" I hear my name being whispered loudly and I opened my eyes lazily to see Tristan's extremely handsome face.
"Wha..."
"I completely forgot it was a school night! Its 7:44! We'll be late if we don't leave like NOW!"
"Shit! I don't have my uniform with me!!!" I smacked my forehead, thinking of what on earth I could possibly do. "Oh wait!" I jumped out of bed to my bag, rummaging through every pocket to pull out a crumbled piece of orange paper. It was a dress down card I got at the beginning of this year. I pulled my bag over my shoulder and ran with Tristan behind me. it just so happened I use my school bag for everything.
"Don't you want breakfast?" he asked.
"Don't have time." I responded plucking a banana out of a fruit bowl on the counter. Tristan shrugged. We hopped in his car and drove away. "Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" I questioned him.
"I had to get ready and... I was... kinda... watching you sleep..." He said with a smirk, keeping his eyes glued to the road. I slightly choked on the banana I was eatting.
"You were what?" I asked turning my head towards him.
"I was watching you sleep. You just looked so pretty and peaceful and stuff. And also you would do this funny thing where you would flick your finger every now and then. It was cute."
"Stop lying. I do not flick me finger when I sleep that is the weirdest thing..."
"You do!" he laughed while shaking his head. I narrowed my eyes and turned away to look out the window.
"Uh....Tristan...."
"Yup?"
"My school was over there." I snorted pointing behind me.
"What? Oh shit sorry! I guess I was lost in another world." he had an embarrassed look on his face that made him look really adorable. I laughed to myself.
Tristan pulled in the little parking lot on the side of the school and let me out. He rolled his window down.
"So when's the next time I'll see you?" he asked.
"Who knows! It could be next week or tomorrow or anytime in between then. Just let me know." I smiled.
"Okay see you!" he smiled and drove away. I watched until his car was out of sight. I looked around me. There was no one around me. Crap I was late! I ran down to my first class which happened to be science. I sneakily slipped inside without my teacher noticing and slipped in my spot next to Luca.
"Hey." he whispered.
"Hi." I whispered back. "What did I miss?"
"He was just explaining how Sodium polyacrylate acted when water-"
"Mr. Brent." my teacher called, "You can talk with your girlfriend after class. Right now, you need to listen and pull up that science grade of yours." the whole class snickered. My face began to burn up and I lowered my head.
"I was explaining to her what you were talking about." He argued.
"I don't care what you were talking about, Luca. She will understand if she listens to me. Not you." And with that, the argument was over. Luca just chuckled quietly.

"I find it funny how all the teachers have been calling you my girlfriend. First in math and now in science." Luca commented as we walked to literature.
"I feel like they all talk behind our backs about things like that." I awkwardly smiled. Luca stopped and his smile disappeared.
"You know what else I find funny?" He asked seriously.
"What?" I asked, a little scared.
"That you didn't remember Tristan." He finished. I rolled my eyes.
"You aren't still thinking about that are you?"
"It...It just doesn't seem right to me. He would bully you and you didn't remember him? You remember me. You don't just forget people like that."
"Luca, you know that I have too much going on in my life to remember things that happened to me when I was six. I try to leave those things behind me."
"Tristan isn't behind you right now. He's in front of you."
"Why do you even care if I'm with him or not?! If you aren't friends anymore what's the big deal?"
"The big deal is that you are friends with him and I am friends with you. And we aren't friends. We are enemies. You are friends with two people who so happen to hate each other. That's the big deal."
"I've told you this already. If you want this to work, we have to try not to fight with each other. We are trying to be friends again but right now, it's not working out. You need to be a little more lenient with me."
"I am lenient!"
"You aren't!" I exclaimed and continued to walk, "you point out the flaws in the friendships I have. Do I point out your flaws? Do I point of that you fuck girls every weekend? Did I point out that you can rob people without even thinking twice about how they feel? I don't! And now, thinking about that, I think that I shouldn't have ever given you another chance!" I yell. He stares at me shocked and for the first time...truly hurt. "Luca...I'm sorry....I didn't mean to-"
"No you were right. I'm sorry, Gwen. For everything I have put you through. You are making me realize who I was meant to be and little by little, you're softening my heart. I start to feel things a little more. I never used to get this sensitive when a girl pointed out my flaws. You're actually doing something good by talking to me that way. I deserve it." Now it was my turn to be shocked. I stopped right outside the door of our class.
"We'll talk later." I said. Luca nodded and we entered the classroom. The whole entire class we didn't talk to each other.
He apologized to me. It was the first time he had ever done that in a long time. I felt really bad about calling him out like that.
"I deserve it." His words echo in my mind. How many times he must have said that to himself...but on the outside he probably just laughs everything off. I watch him during class. Looking down and his book and looking up again. Something about his eyes makes me sad. They don't have that normal hard look to them. They look like his hard eyes melted into soft pools of dark green. I had never seen Luca Brent this upset. Never in my entire life.
