A lot of the events, characters, and references in this book are closely tied to the original, and I really want you to catch all the connections I'm setting up here. This story will help bridge everything together and lay the groundwork for the grand finale — yes, you guessed it — Different but Same: Season 3 is officially in the works once I finish this book!
