"We really appreciated it specially with your busy schedules at work." sang-ayon naman ni Anton, ang husband ni Mrs. Fulgencio.
"It's also a pleasure to be part of your wedding." ngiting tugon ko sa dalawa.
They excused themselves afterwards to talk with the other people na kasali rin sa gaganaping gen-tech.
I roamed my eyes in the church where the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Fulgencio will be held, I saw both familiar and unfamiliar faces in the place, but I never saw him, except for the person walking towards where am I with his playful smile plastered in his lips.
"Hey Ms. Elizalde." I can hear his playful ass in his tone.
"Lumayo ka nga sakin Jacob." inis na taboy ko sa kaniya.
Bubwesitin na naman ako nang lalaking to, I know for a fact that he's not interested in me but he really likes playing with me specially when Nicholas is around.
"Ouch, Madam, you're hurting such a handsome guy like me." he even held his chest acting as if he was really hurt by what I've said.
"Hangin ah, wala naman sa balita na ganito kalakas ang Amihan at low pressure area." I said full of sarcasm in my tone that he just laughed off about.
"Mas malakas kasi talaga ang appeal ko kesa sa Low pressure area, ayaw pa kasi aminin." patuloy na pang-aasar nito at umupo pa talaga sa tabi kung saan ako nakaupo.
What the fuck is with this professional engineer on site? well, not totally the serious type though, kung hindi lang talaga to isa sa engineer na nakahawak sa pinapagawa kung bahay ay sinuntok ko na to like what I said when I'm drunk.
"May tape ako dito, baka gusto mo takpan bibig mo." I rolled my eyes at him out of annoyance.
"You really love hurting people with your words, damn Ms. Elizalde." he lightly chuckled.
"Teka nga, bakit ka ba nandito? kasali ka rin ba?" kunot-noong nilingon ko siya.
"I guess you really don't read all of your emails." napapailing na saad nito.
Ano naman kasi kung hindi ko binabasa lahat nang emails ko, mostly of my emails are code for my social media accounts kasi lagi kung nakakalimutan kung ano ang password ko and of course office documents.
"So ano nga, kasali ka?" tanong ko ulit sa kaniya.
"Of course, it's my cousin's wedding." he said with a matter of fact in his voice.
"Cousin? hindi ko alam na magpinsan pala kayo ni Nicholas." I said shocked.
"Sino ba kasi nagsabi na sa groom's side ako related, I'm the brides cousin." paglinaw niya that made my mouth formed an letter O.
"So, ano ka sa kasal nato?" I asked with a hint of curiosity evident in my voice.
"Partner mo." I looked at him in disbelief.
"Seriously?" pabalang kung tanong.
"Uhuh!" he said confidently.
"Okay na rin yon, at least I know my partner." I said and shrugged.
