All Too Much

Elena's POV

I woke up at 5:30 this morning. I haven't been at school for a while so I decided to go back. Today is the Talent Show which scares me a lot!

I stayed over at Stefan's again. So before I could wake him I zoomed right out of the house. I also stayed away from everybody else in my life. I only texted Bonnie and Caroline. I made my way into my own house like a mouse. My room, it had so much color when I left and now it's all... gloomy. Snapping out of it, I picked out a navy striped crop top and then ripped high waisted shorts. I ran out of the house in a rush and threw on some flip flops and my bag. Right when I heard someone coming downstairs I shut the door and made a run for it. That was a close one! I don't know why I am hiding from everyone. Soon enough I won't be able to hide...

At School

Everybody was staring me. It was kind of weird. The amount I people I had to face today was overwhelming. Stefan doesn't want to come to school anymore. He wants to be worried about me and not homework. He so cute! He's only showing up for the Talent Show which starts in 10 minutes.

I ran to the bathroom to wash my face. This is the first time I've been nervous in a long time. Right when I was walking out I bumped into someone. Oh great!

"Hey beautiful." the guy said. I didn't get a chance to look at his face yet.

"Excu- oh sorry Stefan." I said once I realized it was him.

"No problem babe. Now lets head backstage! It already started!" he said pushing me lightly by my waist.

"And now for our final performance, please welcome Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore to the stage, performing True Love by Dove Cameron!" Our assistant principal announced. Stefan and I entered the stage and gazed over at the crowd.

"Wow." I simply said.

The piano was there for us. Stefan began playing and then the song started.

S- If I could do it all over, baby I do it different. Maybe I wouldn't be here, in this, position.

E- I found you then I lost you. Looking back is torture. And it hurts to know I let you go, you live right around the corner.

When we finished it off the school started clapping really loudly. I even heard some whistles. I think is all too much for me. I'm starting to get a blurry vision and the last thing I hear is Stefan shouting "Elena!"
