"Freddie, she's gonna be fine." You told him, and that was when he broke.

As he breathed in, a harsh sob tore from his throat. You stepped forward and put your arms around his neck, pulling him down so that he could cry against you.

Multiple days has passed, and it was now Thursday morning. You had been given a few days to relax and recover after spending the day and night in the hospital wing, and all of your professors knew about that, so you didn't have to worry about getting into trouble for missing lessons.

Your friends had all assured you that they would take notes in all of your classes, and almost all of your professors were okay with giving you some private lessons just so that you were caught up with the class content.

All of your friends had been godsends these past few days. They had been constantly checking up on you, making sure you had eaten and were hydrated, and felt okay.

If you thought they were being good to you, then they were being absolutely amazing to Millicent. All of them were consistently fussing over here, and they had all offered to go to her chemotherapy appointments for the time being.

It was great to see them caring about her so much, especially because she was nervous to tell them in the first place. You knew that she had no reason to be nervous with your friends, but for some reason she was.

You would never quite understand.

"Come on, you're going on a walk with me."

"No, I don't want to."

"I'm not taking no as answer, Luce."

Your duvet was ripped away from your body and thrown into the floor. You let out a heavy groan as you sat up in your bed and looked at your best friend, Fred Weasley.

"You've been cooped up in your dorm for a few days now." Fred sighed. "You literally only leave to get a bit of food, and then you head back up here. It's not healthy, Luce."

"What's not healthy is walking around the castle and risking seeing the boy who tried to make me sleep with him be drugging me, Fred." You scoffed and laid down, your body turned onto its side to look out of the window. "I don't want to leave."

Silence filled the air as you stared outside of your dormitory window. It was raining, as per usual, and it was oddly calming.

A few moments later, the sound of some kind of clothing rustling around filled the room. You were confused and wondered what Fred was doing, yet you didn't remove your gaze from the rain splattered window.

Before you knew it, a red hoodie had been tossed on top of your head. Your eyes rolled to the back of your head as you peeled the hoodie off of your face, turning your head to glare at your best friend.

Fred was stood there in dark jeans and his old, love sleeve quidditch crew top. His arms were crossed against his chest, which made his huge biceps stand out, and his shoulder length hair was a little bit messy.

"You have been through a lot these past few days, Luce, I know that." Fred said in a warm tone as he walked over to you, sitting next to you on your bed. "All I'm asking of you, is that you put on my hoodie, and go for a walk with me. The sun is setting, and I stole the map back from Harry so that we can avoid being caught by any professors."
