Fearietales Are For Children

Beautiful princesses and charming princes

Evil always losing and good prevailing

Witches destroyed and dragons slain

Each is a fabricated lie

Gently created for children to enjoy

Making them naive to the world

Filling their heads with sweet nothings

Boys pretending to be brave knights

Girls acting like fragile royalty

Their eyes clouded thickly with lies

Everyone seeming sweet and kind

Trusting everyone wholeheatedly

Only to have their hopes and dreams

Slowly deteriorate as they get older

Realizing all they believed is a lie

Their worlds crashing all around them

Their hazy eyes clearing

As the whole of reality sets in

Boys becoming royal pains

Girls transforming into useless sluts

Parents bailing them out of jail

Life becoming a living hell

As they quickly realize the truth,

Fearietales are for children

And for children alone
