~{Kendell}~

Sage, Peyton, and I were walking on a trail to the next Villa, PsyVilla, a place full of magical beings. Most people don't want to visit, as they believe the fairies who roam the Villa at night will steal their belongings.

No one knows the truth, if they will, or if they won't.

The second moon had already passed Mid-sky point, yet the trio still wasn't where they needed to be.

"Sage, my friend, where are we going? I thought we would stop at a different Villa for the night before reaching PsyVilla. Is that not true?" I asked, tired of walking for so long.

"No. We head straight to PsyVilla, and we can't stop. A wild pack of wolves shifters have been following us, guess they are sensing Goatie over here." The witch points.

"You brought me with you. Not like they can do much anyways. They'd be dead before laying a claw on me." Peyton said, sounding confident as ever.

"Is that so?"

The trio stopped mid step, and turned to the wood line, as they heard the mysterious voice call to them.

"So now you make yourself present, let me guess, you're the ring leader of these beast?" I called out, listening to their subconscious.

"How many is there?" Sage thought, and I festered with my hand, 6.

"The six of you can come out, and we won't harm you at all, but if you stay hidden, someone will die, and spoilers it won't be one of us." Sage warned.

When she finished talking, six sets of glowing eyes could be seen. Surrounding us the best they could. Most of them, around Peyton, as she seemed the weakest.

Maybe she was, but it's not a "So weak they cant defend themselves" type of way, she was strong, just not as strong as I, or Sage.

She can only fight physically, hardly at that. Me and Sage can fight both physically and mentally. Sage, however can also fight with magic, she's great at it. I love watching her eye and abdomen glow as her powers grow with each use. It's a wonderful view.

"Fight us. Cowards, stop hiding in the shadows, we can see and hear you. Breathing slowly, I know one of you would taste delicious." Sage, sounding more threatening than before, scowled.

"Attack!" Who I can only presume as the leader wolf, yelled.

Three of the six wolves jumped, Two at Peyton, 1 at me and Sage. It was clear they would go for the "weakest link" first. They underestimated her.

"Flaschi Du Vinecus!" Sage yelled, her hands pulling vines from the ground, en-trapping one of the heathens.

We turned to watch Peyton fight, as Sage took a dagger from her side and slight the trapped wolf's throat.

I stood by, incase Peyton needed help, but she fought better than anyone would expect. She fell to the ground, on purpose, using her cane to sweep one of the wolves feet out from under them. She rolled father over, to not be trapped under is body as he fell. The other wolf jumped at her, but she noticed easily. Using her left leg, she kicked his gut, sending him down to ground in pain. Standing up, almost too swiftly, she jumped on one's back to the other's. Repeatedly, pushing them farther down than before.

It didn't take long, for her to use her cane and bash their heads in, after making them incapable of movement.

"You fools! Attack while they aren't looking. Look the Goat is tired! It'd be a lovely feast!" One more wolf jumped at Peyton.

He was stopped by something, a force-field maybe? No a spell. Sage had put a spell around the three.

"While no one was playing attention I put a spell of protection on me and my friends. Try all you would like, you won't get to us." Sage laughed, insulting them.

"Attack! It can not be that strong of a spell! Attack them!" The leader yelled again.

I, no longer wanting to stand here and listen to him demand orders, got into the head of the closest wolf to me.

'Come now, you really let him talk to you like this? You're weak. You won't kill anyone like that, you should run. Run away now.' I spoke in her head.

She did as that, running from her death.

"Now." I whispered to Sage, a smile spreading across my face.

"Carnious De Bretrothuim!" She scowled, a shadow emerged. Chasing the wolf.

The shadow, as it grew, formed into a snake, chasing the wolf with spite, moving as if it were real.

Peyton was on the backs of the wolves she had killed, movement weak. She was tired, and it was obvious they weren't used to fighting.

"Argh, these fools. Must I do all by myself? Just more food for me." The leader emerged from the tree line.

He stood taller than the rest, even on all fours. He towered them, he towards us.

"Kendell, are you ready my dear? Let's show this heathen what really happens when messing with a trio of thieves." She snickered.

Kendell nodded, picking up Peyton, "You ready?"

"Ready for anything if I'm not getting eaten." Peyton said.

"Perfect, you'll be our distraction, and we'll kill." I whispered.

'I'm gonna be thrown aren't I? Oh well whatever it takes to survive then.' I heard her think as she threw her cane on the ground.

The wolf, fast as ever, leaped at us. Turning into his human form mid-way to us. Claws still on his hand, out stretched, ready to attack, grab, anything he could.

Sage, using a her magic, picked Peyton up and threw her at the wolf. He was shocked, and stopped. That's when Kendell pulled her weapons. Small hatchets were sent flying at him, he dodged one, but was hit by others. Letting out a groan of pain. Peyton, was sent flying back at us, knocking Sage down, the protection spell around us breaking. He noticed, pulled the hatchet out of his shoulder, and leaped at them.

Sage opened her eyes, and saw as he was above the two, Peyton was knocked out cold, unable to move. He was on top of them now, not attacking, but looking down at them, snarling, drooling dripping as he bared his teeth.

I took my chance and stabbed him, multiple times in the back. He let out a loud, pain inducing roar, and fell to the ground beside him.

"Thank you my dear friend, let's head in the wood line and set up a camp. She needs to heal. I'll make us both some food."

Sage said, lifting our friend off of her, and onto tjr ground, just like enough to dust herself off, and reclaim her weapons. A tent was set up in seconds, and Peyton was laid into it, carefully but swiftly.

Sage, being a cannibal, used the meat from the leader for her food, and burnt the other wolves for fuel of the fire. I used herbs for my food. Rose petals smashed and mixed with our food, for enhanced flavor.

"Tomorrow, we will set foot in PsyVilla." Sage said, tearing part of the wolves flesh from the bone.

"Yes ma'am." I said, looking over to our still knocked out friend.
