"Tae! Listen to me!" he swiftly and almost aggressively cupped Tae's face with both palms and lifted it to look straight into his eyes, interrupting his chattering and making him pause.

Tae was certainly stunned- he opened his mouth to continue but then closed it again. He was staring at Captain with eyes brimming with unshed tears.

"And here I was thinking I'm the one that talks too much." he let out an amused sigh and shook his head.

Tae snapped out of the trance he had fallen in while looking into his pretty eyes, only to smack his arm. Captain just chuckled because finally, the Tae he always knew is coming back to him.

"I don't hate you, you idiot. How could I ever hate you? Yeah what you said did hurt me, I won't deny that, but honestly, I am at fault too Tae. Don't just blame yourself. I need to listen more and If you'll let me, I wanna do better with you by my side. I missed you Tae, you have no idea how much."

Captain missed him? He really missed him? Tae couldn't believe his ears.

He thought he didn't want him around anymore. All his overthinking had made him mourn their friendship, but he was here right now. He was right in front of him, it wasn't an illusion, it wasn't a mirage, his Cap is really here.

In that moment, his heart swelled with every emotion he kept tucked away in his subconscious all these years. He came so close to losing him and seeing him right now felt like a dream. This man really came out of a dream and made himself comfortable in his orbit. Losing him again will never be an option.

Tae searched his eyes for any sign of dishonesty, only to get lost in them again. Those damn eyes were too easy to get pulled into.

But then his vision traveled towards his lips. Slightly parted, very smooth, pink and incredibly inviting. He had never felt a stronger urge to taste him before. He wondered if his lips tasted as sweet as his strawberry cakes.

Without thinking he leaned in closer, slowly closing the gap. Captain didn't lean back or try to avoid it, so Tae took it as a sign and quickly pecked his lips.

The second he did that, he realized what had happened.

Fuck. Oh no. Oh god.

Didn't Captain have a boyfriend now? What had he done? Why did he kiss him?

Captain was stunned at the bold move and Tae's eyes went wide in horror.

He pulled back, abruptly stood up and made a beeline for the door. He needed to escape, get out of there as fast as possible or he's gonna lose his mind. He just ruined their friendship for the second time in 1 month.

What would his boyfriend think? Did he ruin their relationship? A part of him reveled at the possibility that he did, but the less selfish side was broken. He cared for Captain, he wanted him to be happy and he just went and ruined it for him AGAIN.

"You're so stupid Tae, why did you do that?" he kept mumbling under his breath, hitting his head with his fists.

He bolted out the door and ran through the long corridors of the building.

Before he even made it out of the building, a strong arm yanked him and pulled him back. It was obviously Captain. He chased after him.

Now he's stood there, frozen, unable to turn around and make eye contact to see the fury in his friend's face. He kissed him out of nowhere, Captain surely hates him now.

"Where are you going??" The hurt and confusion in his tone was pretty evident.

"Let me go." Tae attempted to pull away but the hand holding him back was too strong.
