Silence surrounded the two eldest Rengokus as they looked at the image shown, Kyojuro's future daughter looked so much like Rengoku Ruka that it hurt but at the same time made the two happy as neither Kyojuro or Senjuro looked like their mother in appearance.
"She is very pretty" Senjuro says softly 'And looks a lot like mother' he adds mentally because while he ahs no memories of Ruka, he had been shown photos of his mother by both his father and brother
"Sensei will have such a beautiful daughter!" Mitsuri exclaims
"I must agree, Runa is truly beautiful" Daki agrees since if Runa had been an oiran, she would have been very famous with her looks
"I do not remember meeting a Rengoku that may look more like the mother or grandmother but it certainly is something I'm happy to see before I lose my vision completely" Kagaya says since for generations the Rengokus have looked almost exactly the same
"Yes...it is the first this happens in our family" Shinjuro says, finally finding his voice again 'Ruka would be so happy to discover this, she always wished at least one of our children would break tradition and look like her' he thinks with a sad but proud smile
"I'm very proud of my daughter! She breaks the Rengoku's tradition in appearance and will also become a Flame Hashira!" Kyojuro says with a proud smile
"But I wonder...who is the girl's mother" Giyuu hums while looking directly at Shinobu who glares at him while keeping a smile in her face so he will keep his mouth shut
'There is no way I'm the girl's mother, I will end up dying and the poison I take probably affected my uterus' Shinobu thinks despite Giyuu looking at her giving her a bit of hope that the oblivious flame hashira would finally realize she loved him and they would in the future have a family

"How unexpected!" Uzui exclaims as he grins at his best friend who looks in shock at finding out who his future wife will be and who can blame him when he had a small(gigantic) crush on the insect hashira

"Shinobu even Gyomei could see that you have a crush on Kyojuro since you first met so the look I gave you was me telling you that you would end up with him" Giyuu points out
"...I miss when you didn't talk" Shinobu says but Giyuu simply shrugs at that
"Shinobu-chan likes sensei?!" Mitsuri exclaims as she add no idea about it
"I believe only me, Giyuu, Sanemi and Kanae had any idea about it" Gyomei says
"...The Butterfly Mansion works also know" Aoi says
'Oh, god...was I that obvious?' Shinobu wonders a bit embarrassed
"Oh~ who would have thought a little butterfly may actually be a moth that has already fallen for the flame" Douma comments amused
"Stop with your shitty words" Akaza tells Douma who simply grins at him
"Is Kyo-nii alright?" Senjuro asks as Kyojuro seems frozen
"Don't worry, he will be back soon" Shinjuro says as he had acted exactly like that when Ruka let him court her and when she accepted to marry him
And just as Shinjuro said, in a few minutes Kyojuro finally reacted.
"I WILL REALLY MARRY SHINOBU?!" Kyojuro shouts
"Yes, congrats on getting to marry your crush" Uzui tells the flame hashira who grins and seems to be surrounded by a pink aura full of flowers
'He...likes me too?' Shinobu thinks turning red and feeling even more embarrassed then she had before
"Shall we move to the next family?" Calipso offers amused
