Nevermore Academy was, and always had been, a strange place. Mainly because it was filled with outcasts, but also because you still had outcasts among the outcasts.
Arlo Knight was one of them. She didn't have any friends outside of her roommate, Enid, or her long term friend, Xavier. She was labelled as one of the tortured artists along with him and she tended to keep to herself in the academy, she hid in the shadows of the quad drawing piece after piece or she quietly sat in her lessons with her head down unless Xavier was there next to her.
If she wasn't in the quad drawing, she was most likely with Enid in their dorm reading while she rambled off gossip. Their friendship was one no one expected at Nevermore, but when they were made roommates, Arlo grew to love and adore the hyperactive werewolf. There was something about the blonde that made it impossible to stop her from wiggling her way into your heart.
Though, their colour splash of a room was still something she wasn't fond of.
However, this new school year everything begins to change and all it took was the new student. Arlo didn't understand what drew her towards the girl, why everything in her was calling for her to be next to Wednesday, especially when Wednesday tended to be the centre of attention.
Maybe it was just the close proximity of them being roommates, maybe it was the shared experience of being attacked by another student, or maybe it was the years of fate that tied them together.
The multiple generations that lead to the Knight and Addams family finally finding their way back to one another.
