"Can I come over to explain everything"
Hikaru asked, he still had Yoshiki pulled into a hug but his face had reverted back to normal.
"Yeah."
The walk home after a long summer day has got to be one of the bests because the heat of the day has faded, only leaving behind cool air that brushes gently against your skin. The sky was a deep blue-black canvas, speckled with stars and dim traces of earlier clouds.
By now the streets lights were on, the two walked side by side but on opposite sides of the street making it impossible for conversation to happen.
The silence was awkward, everything seemed quieter now and their footsteps seemed even louder. Even after the events of today Hikaru found himself finding peace again in the summer night. The cool air was reminding Hikaru that the day was done, nothing more was expected of him. Just walking, breathing, and existing for the first time.. The stillness, he liked it. It felt peaceful, the kind of peace that make your thoughts unravel.
"Did you kill the real Hikaru?"
Yoshiki asked, he had stopped walking a few seconds ago but Hikaru was so busy with his own thoughts he hadn't noticed.
"No! of course not." he responded back,
"I found him on the verge of death before I inhabited his body" he said shyly.. "To be honest" he continued,
"I never had the intention of being your friend. I just wanted a human's body but this human.."
Hikaru said gripping his chest. "He had strong feelings towards you" he continued,
"I guess..I'm acting on them because I've started to like you too.."
"You've?" Yoshiki asked,
Hikaru nodded and walked towards Yoshiki
"Once I entered this body I received different feelings and information about all human's Hikaru has ever met" he said with a slight smile
"And you were one of the most important things to him"
Yoshiki was flustered and stunned. He didn't know if this was true or even if to believe it. 'One of the most important things' he thought.
"Memories of you two are flooding my mind now as we speak" Hikaru said, "He loved you".
Yoshiki suddenly felt disgusted.
' This thing is using my dead friends corpse and is just walking around as if it's a human.'

"You aren't allowed to use his body because you want to pass off as human!" Yoshiki yelled,
"That's not it!" Hikaru interrupted,
