Before reading you should know these things,
This story will not follow the same exact plot of the original 'The Summer Hikaru Died'. Yes, there will be similarities of course but do not expect the same exact plot, storyline or even characters.
I want to say that my story will be a dark one, I wanted to focus more on the mysteries of 'Hikaru' and use him in an even darker sense.
As a manga reader of the original series I want to keep this story as different as possible with only a few resemblance to the real thing to avoid spoilers. I will have my own plot, characters, and ending. I guess the ending doesn't really matter since not even the manga is finished yet, lol.
The first chapter of what you're about to read will follow the manga/tv series almost exactly but again with my own twists.
My story will be about 'Hikaru' a boy who was normal until he visited a mysterious creepy forest, who happens to be in love with his best friend.
Yes! it's a dark romance the best kind of romance.
As a disclaimer I want to mention that this story will contain slight mental/physical abuse but never intentional. Well, the mental abuse will be intentional. Things like manipulation or gaslighting will occur but the physical abuse is always by accident.
It will have mentions of blood, death, stalking, and sexual themes. This is a yandere love story.
This story will mostly be narrated but will sometimes go into both characters mind/POV.
