Mahir blinked , visibly shaken "aksath -.

"In front of entire family,in front of people who respected me".

Aksath stepped closer,eyes dangerously staring at him.his words calm-too calm.

"You stripped my name,you made them look at me like I was filth".

"I ....I was angry "mahir whispered.

Aksath chuckled softly,his expression didn't flickered"no....you were cruel,too cruel to believe your brother ".

Adarsh tried to speak but aksath glare moved to him instantly"and you,you stood there, watching everything right.

Mahir hands balled into fist at his side"please, don't say anything to him".

Aksath chuckled "protecting your brother,nice....why didn't you protected me that time?".

"And you believed it without even asking me once "aksath words was breaking now,his composure craking.

Mahir looked down in shame "I am sorry".

Aksath laughed sharp and hollow,like trying to hide those tears behind laugh who was threatening to fall .

"Sorry"his voice dropping,shaking in emotion.

"I lost my everything,my home,my dignity,even myself and you....get to walk back hre with a sorry".

Mahir breathed hard,adarsh didn't know how to speak.

Aksath turned away for a second -breathing hard .his heartbeat still fast ,eyes hollow,jaw clenched.

"You killed your brother the day you said those words mr.mahir."

Mahir eyes flooded with tears,his composure breaking in the worst way ,hands trembling by side.his lips parted but nothing came out.

Aksath sighed walking inside the mansion "come in now,you can't stay outside".

They stepped inside slowly,guilt flashing through the veins.

Aksath didn't offered them water or a seat.he simply stood there far away from them-fust tight, breathing heavy but steady....like controlling something deep inside.

Mahir sat down first , slowly like the weight of his guilt wouldn't let him stand anymore.

Mahir began,voice breaking"there was silence,i-i was worried for dadi...i thought -you was going to kill her ".

Aksath chuckled"you didn't even believed me right -how can i kill my grandmother ".

His voice breaking,tears spill down "I was too stupid that time,i just -snapped".

Mahir breath hitched in throat,his heart clenched.

Aksath always called him bhai, always respected him as big brother but today-he called him by his name....not even bhai.
