part 2 - The Blockchain And Three Days Of Fire

People in the front line facing police had been paid online and were pioneers in the creation of companies of mercenaries in Blockchain. There were people who had deserted from NATO's lines, veterans, mercenaries by profession and also some university students. Nevertheless most of them were there just for the adrenaline and fun of experiencing combat, the average age was under 25, none of them had combat experience, but they had an advantage in numbers of 3 to 1.

Among it's arsenal they had paintball guns, airsoft guns, foam bullets, paint bombs, hand made shields and cameras recording everything.

NATO had managed to keep them at bay for some minutes with their devices that made people falla sleep immediately but this caused an enormous unrest among the people watching and the videos of this were becoming viral so they had to switch to tear gas, at least on manifestation with too many people.

Clashes were taking place in the peace avenue as riotists were trying to control the main road of the town. Riots here were quite chaotic and disorganized with more than 90% of the city still under NATOs control and poor communication among the riots participants. Luckily enough for them a relief force was heading for the city from the North, it was the army o the Northern Federation that had crossed the 60th parallel and now was taking action in the riots.

A similar situation could be seen meanwhile in Yakarta, in Java's island. The riots seemed prosperous at the beginning since there were just a handful of military policemen ready for service in the city at the moment but soon NATO's propaganda machine began operating in order to disrupt the riots. They used the old strategy of dividing people with racism. Yakarta is a cosmopolitan city with a mix of cultures, languages, religions and traditions. Although until that point they have lived just well among each other like that, they know faced NATOs racial hate propaganda in each screen, in each building and in each device.

All the propaganda advertisings started with he same slogan: "OTAN/NATO: fighting for sex(ual liberty) since 1991"

The Javanese, the most numerous group in the city was glorified by NATO as the best and most superior of all races in the metropoly, and soon they were given the idea of creating their own state free from foreign influences and we're they could rule without caring about minorities, NATO bribed Javanese politicians for them to spread hate speeches and make the Javanese feel more proud than ever about their heritage above all the others with the dream of creating the great java republic that they won't be treated as kids anymore. Later on NATO continued with the Sundanese, in the version that NATO created a virus was used with the capacity to infect devices and display a video, the virus also prevented the user from turning off the phone, also from changing the video or to take down the volume. The Sundanese since a long time ago had faced discrimination for their language differences with the Javanese and other cultures, many times they had been treated like less intelligent just because of the differences in their speech, they occupy áreas of the city with difficult access in most cases and many of them believed that didn't have enough political representation, they had also problems with thiefs which the propaganda soon blamed in other races. NATO gave them the idea of creating a big wall dividing the city and allowing them to have their own section, they were to "claim independence and get away from all those thieves and immigrants, this was now their land after all"

In the third place a similar propaganda was spreading among the Betawi, they were told that most Javanese and Sundanese criticize them for their sexual traditions and many among their own considered traitors the ones supporting the riots knowing that other races in many cases view them as terrorists just because of an old paramilitary extremist Betawi group that was causing chaos in the city before their disbandment no more than 10 years ago. Then the propaganda for the Minangkabau was put online, just taken from the memories of brain chips in the minds with more fascist ideals, their version included a fake wave of widespread raping that was being covered by the local authorities, among the different version many Minangkabau of all types had been rapped constantly in the last decade by other races and those crimes hidden from them thanks to a deliberate attempt o make them move out of the city. Nevertheless for the other races the stories told that they were the rapists, or the Sudanese, or the Javanese, the offenders' racial groups changed depending on the version of the propaganda you were watching.
