"Phi." Tae tried to get his attention, his head was about to burst with the worst headache known to mankind, the deadline for his work was a few hours away- and Cap was making it worse with all the blabbering.

"But then the universe had mercy on us and sent Sant barreling in and claiming his love right in front of everyone! He grabbed him by the neck and kissed him like he's been starving. I almost barfed at these lovestruck idiots. The deadly look Sant gave her afterwards was so funny though. I've never seen him so possessive over his man. It was insane, you should have been there-"

"Cap..." Tae pinched the bridge of his nose attempting to calm himself down. He still hasn't properly fixed the bug and Captain was getting on his last nerve right now.

"Enough about my day though, what the hell has happened to your room?? Why does it look like a hurricane tore through it? I told you to keep things neat and tidy, it's gonna help you work better Tae! You never listen to me when I-"

He was in the middle of picking up his stuff and cleaning the room- when Tae snapped.

"Captain!" he suddenly raised his voice and gave Captain a murderous look. He's had enough of this, he just needs some alone time, is that so hard to understand?

Captain froze in shock.

"Can you stop talking for one fucking second? I'm stressed out of my mind here, and you just barrel in non stop chattering about useless things. I don't care about Jay or Sant or your stupid customers! What's gonna help me work better is not hearing your voice for one damn minute. Leave me alone for fuck sake."

He practically screamed at him. Then turned back to his computer to continue his work.

Captain just stood there speechless for the very first time since Tae met him. Tears pooling in his eyes- Tae has never been this blatantly rude towards him.

He thought his friend liked him just the way he was, but clearly he doesn't. Really, he should be used to this by now, people always found his tendency to talk a lot annoying and too much to handle, but he never thought his best friend would be one of them too in the end.

He hates me... is all Captain could think of.

Of course he does, I'm annoying & useless. Just like everyone else said.

"I-I'm sorry.." he choked out- barely above a whisper as he dropped Tae's things before silently walking out of the room.

Noticing the immediate silence, Tae was instantly filled with guilt.

Shit, was I too harsh? Why the hell did you say that Tae??

Why did he snap like that? He let his frustrations take over and yelled things he could never take back.

"Wait.." He mumbled as he reached out to stop him, but Captain was already out the door. He slumped back down on his chair with a frown and a resigned sigh.

He can't afford to ponder on it right now, he needs to finish his work and then hopefully apologize to his friend for the way he acted.

Guilt ate him up the more he thought about it though, it's not like him to lose his temper like that. Sure, Captain nearly brought him to his limits many times before, but he's never gone this far- literally screaming at him to shut up.

Two hours later and 50 lines of code finally fixed, he stretched his limbs out in his chair and finally realized that the place was eerily quiet. Too quiet for Captain being home.

He always heard him doing something, whether it's cooking some extravagant meal for them or chatting on the phone with his family or friends.

It was already 8pm by this point and there was absolutely no noise to be heard.
