Ömer: Something came up kuzum. She really wanted to come but it was urgent. She said she'll call you tomorrow.

Mavi smiles.

Mavi: I guess it's okay. She'll call me tomorrow.

Ömer kisses her cheek.

Ömer: Do you know that you are such a beautiful little girl?

Mavi: Yes I know, I'm very beautiful.

Ömer and Mavi laughs.

Ömer: Come let's go eat.

They both walk to the table.

Next day, Veritas Gallery:

Fatma: Okay, that's the final hanging list. Metehan's pieces are grouped, lighting is set, and the press board is coming at 4.(notices Kıvılcım zoning out, adjusting the same frame again and again) You've realigned that frame three times, Kıvılcım. Either you've developed a sudden obsession with symmetry or something's bothering you.

Kıvılcım steps away from the canvas.

Kıvılcım: There's nothing bothering me.

Fatma walks towards Kıvılcım and and leans against the wall.

Fatma: Okay, I won't push you. Let's go have a drink tonight. We haven't been out for a while and we've been working like robots. Let's go unwind a bit.

Kıvılcım hesitates for a while.

Kıvılcım: But only one drink. You know alcohol and I don't mix. (she looks at her watch) Fatma, I'm going out for about two hours. I have a lunch date with my mother.

Fatma: Okay canım. Say hi to Sonmez Sultan.

Kıvılcım packs her bag and leave Veritas Gallery.

Restaurant:

Kıvılcım and Sonmez is having lunch next to the sea. They always come here as it's Sonmez's favorite spot.

Sonmez: Alev said she's staying with you for a few days.

Kıvılcım playing with the food on her plate.

Kıvılcım: Yes, let she come. I haven't seen her for a while now.

Sonmez: Yes because you've been working like a dog.

Kıvılcım: It's worth it.

Sonmez realizes that something is off about Kıvılcım. She leaves her fork on the table and folds her arms.

Sonmez: Are you going to tell me what's wrong?

Kıvılcım looks at her mother and then down to her plate.

Kıvılcım: What do you mean anne? I'm fine, just a little tired.

Sonmez: I don't buy it.

Kıvılcım's eyes soften. She smiles.

Kıvılcım: I just have been feeling a bit under the weather, it's nothing to worry about.

Sonmez: I know you well and you're not telling me the reason. But it's okay. I'm here for you whenever you need to talk.

Kıvılcım nods her head.

An hour later later they leave the restaurant. Kıvılcım takes her mother home. As she gets back in her car her phone buzzes. She looks at the screen, frowns.
