Kıvılcım arrived at Veritas Gallery, her mood a shade lighter than the previous days stormy dispositions. Esma was, as always, waiting with a freshly brewed coffee and her trusty notebook. They talked for a while then Kıvılcım walked to her office. As soon as Kıvılcım entered her office, her phone rang. She quickly put her things down and answered.

Kıvılcım: Cem please tell me my car's ready. It's been hell without it.

Kıvılcım took her car to someone that used to be her husband's friend. He owned a car and repair shop. When it comes to cars she has only trusted him. She also didn't want to contact the people Ömer gave the card for. She didn't even look at the card. She simply just tore it up and threw it away.

Cem: It's fixed Kıvılcım. I'll send someone to come drop it.

Kıvılcım: You know I adore you so much right?

Cem (laughing): I know. Are you at work?

Kıvılcım: Yes I am.

Cem: Okay. Then I'll send him right now.

Kıvılcım thanked Cem and hung up the phone.

Meanwhile, at Ünal Holding, Ömer was already deep into his morning routine. Metehan sat across from him, diligently taking notes as Ömer explained the intricacies of a new investment opportunity.

Ömer: So, Metehan, what's your initial take on this acquisition?

Ömer asked, leaning back in his chair.

Metehan: We're looking at a significant outlay, but the potential returns are considerable, especially if the market shifts in our favor. The projections are strong, Ömer Bey, and the company's track record is impressive. My only concern would be the current political instability in the region where their primary assets are located. It could significantly impact the long-term viability of the investment.

Ömer nodded slowly.

Ömer: A valid point. It's a calculated risk, but one we've mitigated through various channels. We'll delve deeper into the political climate this afternoon. For now, let's prepare for the client meeting at ten. They're keen to hear our progress on the Istanbul project.

Just then, Gamze appeared at the doorway.

Gamze: Ömer Bey, Mr. Tekin is here to see you. He says it's urgent.

Ömer frowned.

Ömer: Tekin? I don't have him on my schedule today. Send him in.

Mr. Tekin, a stern-faced man in a tailored suit, entered the office, a grim expression on his face.

Tekin: Good morning, Ömer bey. I apologize for the unannounced visit, but I have some… disturbing news.

Ömer listened intently as Mr. Tekin relayed the news.

Tekin: The market has taken an unexpected downturn, Ömer Bey. The political unrest we discussed is far more severe than anticipated. Our investments in that region are… precarious.

Ömer's jaw tightened.

Ömer: How precarious, Tekin? Give me the full scope.

Tekin swallowed hard. "

Tekin: We're looking at a potential loss of nearly 30% of our portfolio in that sector, Ömer Bey. Possibly more if the situation escalates.

Metehan, who had been silently observing, felt a cold dread settle in his stomach. This was precisely the scenario he had considered.
