Astro kept cradling himself under his blanket, he looked frightened and uncomfortable. God, I wanted to smack him. Why would he even be on stage with his stage fright?! I was confused, but that could wait for now. I'd have a serious talk with him later. 

I had a better idea come to mind.

"Which planet has the most moons in our solar system?"

Astro's head perked when he heard a space question, and out of pure instinct he hit the button and announced:

"Saturn."

"Correct!!"

He seemed a little surprised he stood up to the question, but then a small smile spread across his face when the other toons cheered for him. He mouthed the words, "thank you", and I could almost see him blush from over there.

He didn't seem as uncomfortable anymore, but he still wasn't answering questions unless they were space related. Seeing him smile like that felt like I was seeing something for the very first time again. It's been such a long time since I've actually seen him put on a real smile...and before I knew it, I took over and started spilling more space-facts for the moon toon.

He won....by a lot.

"YOU'RE CHEATING," Shrimpo yelled, "YOU DID ALL SPACE QUESTIONS SO ASTRO COULD WIN!!!"

I just rolled my eyes and paid no attention to Shrimpo. It's very easy to ragebait him anyway, so I'll just do that later on my free time, but for now I had to go search for the moon toon. Since the show was over, I figured he couldn't have gone far already, right?

It took me 20 minutes to find him, but when I finally did, he was sitting on a bean bag chair under the stars in his room. He looked like was trying to be in peace, but there was something nagging him the back of his head. You could see it in his expression; he was trying to repress something.

"Boo," I said, leaning against the doorway.

"SHIT-" Astro's heart could've leaped out of his chest he jumped that high. He took a moment to catch his breath, but then he saw me in the doorway and sighed, "hasn't anyone taught you not to sneak up on people?"

"Well, I thought I told you not to participate in my gameshows," I replied back with the same teasing attitude. Then I walked into the room without even being invited. I knew if I'd ask, he'd shove me out, and he was already eyeing me like he wanted me gone. 

"Is it so bad that I wanted to make a quick stop to say hi?" Astro asked.

"'Quick stop', and you're literally on my stage for about an hour. Plus, you could've met me any other time, so why now?"

"You've got a shorter fuse then I remembered."

"Well, maybe your memory is so bad because you've been avoiding us!"

I knew I probably shouldn't have said that, and the look in Astro's eye made my heart clench, but something in me was getting real pissed. How come Astro avoids us with Dandy for a long time, and then wants to banter with me like we're back to friends? 

"Look, I'm sorry," I said, but I didn't even believe my own words, "I just.... miss you. A lot." 

"You miss me?" Astro said, sounding a bit awestruck and surprised. 

"Well, duh, you left me with Seedly and Dinosaur-train, I missed having you around."

Astro smiled softly at my words, but I wasn't done. He wasn't getting off the hook just because his smile was so charming, and I wanted to do everything I could to make him smile again.... Astro could tell I wasn't done here. He checked his surroundings as if he was worried of being watched, and then he sat up fron the bean bag.
