Chapter 27

Lee Minho's POV:

JYP talked to Chan about having more charisma as Jihoon looked upset. I watched as Jihoon's eyes watered at the frustration. I knew he never really supported the criticism and the rash decisions of being an idol. But he did it because he loved Chan. I watched as Hajun whispered stuff to him and talked to Jihoon. "Jeonginnie, Hyunjinnie, and Minho", said JYP. "You three are currently the hardest people to debut". Chan looked at the ground as he knew he was at a risk of losing three members. He talked to Jeongin and Hyunjin and then me. "Minho, you only sang one line?", he asked, as he flipped a paper.

"Yes", I said.

"Although you only sang one line, it stands out", said JYP. "It's not that you did well, that you stood out". My heart dropped at the brutality. JYP switched the parts as I ended up with Hyunjin's rap part. I was nervous as I knew I couldn't rap well. I was nervous as the song started and my part approached. Han felt my nervousness as he held my hand. I passed him a grateful smile as I held his hand. I rapped strongly as I felt the confidence as Changbin assisted the back vocals. I felt really grateful for Han's support. We finished as JYP was about to give us another review. "Well, the filming will start next week", he said, as we all cheered. I made eye contact with Han as we hugged excitedly that we had a chance.

A month later, Hellavator was out and the second evaluation was prepped. We split into teams as we were ready to show JYP. We stood at the stage as the first group went on, consisting of Chan, Hyunjin, and Seungmin. I was the second team, with Felix and Changbin. The last team was Jisung and Jeongin. Felix, Changbin, and I stood on the stage as we looked at my boyfriend, and his friends and JYP.

"What kind of song did the second team prepare?", asked JYP.

"This time we prepared a new song called 'GLOW'. This song is about our team oftenly practicing till dawn. To show the image of it being hard on us, and us working hard, it has the meaning that we'll shine brighter in the dark. Hence we came up with the title 'GLOW'", said Changbin, as JYP listened.

"The title is 'GLOW' and has the meaning of shining bright in the dark", said JYP, as we nodded. "All three of you wrote the lyrics?". We nodded. "Shall we see the stage once?". We nodded again. We started the song and it ended quickly as JYP thought. Felix, Changbin and I stood at the stage as everyone listened. "Changbin's singing is really good, right? Your tune was very stable".

"Thank you", bowed Changbin.

"Your sound is very firm as well and when you dance, your breathing doesn't mess up your vocalization", said JYP. "Your dance is really good, as for Changbin, it's almost flawless for this stage. I didn't know your singing was this stable. You did well". Everyone clapped. "As for Felix, why are you so unconfident?".

"I was a little confused and a little nervous", said Felix. "I felt a little awkward".

"Kids, when you're on stage you need to think that you're very special", said JYP. "Only with such thoughts would you be able to perform so coolly on stage. But right now, I don't see it from Felix. However, something I was really surprised by is that at the beginning and the end of the song, Felix you sang right? I really liked your voice, I was surprised. I really like when you sing and if you'd have a little more confidence".

"Yes, Yes", said Felix.

"Uh....As for Minho, you made a lyrical mistake when you were rapping?", asked JYP.

"Yes", I said.

"Did you forget a little?", he asked.

"No, I confused it with Changbin's lines", I said.
