Chapter 4

Kim Hajun's POV:

"Min", I whispered, as my siblings giggled and my mom laughed. My dad had an amused look as Minho shook hands with my mom.

"Interested in Hajun?", asked my mom.

"Not just interested", said Minho, as he looked at me. I blushed as I looked away.

"Looks like Hajun oppa has a boyfriend", teased Haeun.

"I saw Minho hyung kiss Hajun hyung", said Minjun, as I blushed.

"On the lips?", gasped my sister.

"Nope, on the cheek", said my brother.

"That's more romantic", gasped my sister.

I groaned as they continued talking about my so-called relationship with Minho. I blushed at every word as Minho, and my parents laughed. "Come here", said Minho, as he extended his arms out. He pulled me closer as he whispered in my ear. "Let them tease us. None of it is a lie, is it?".

"Min", I said, as I buried my face in his chest.

"Well, Minho, since you're already here, why don't you tell us about you and Hajun as we eat some dinner?", asked his mom.

I watched as Minho helped my parents set the table. He was very disciplined obviously as he has a bit of strict parents. I sighed as everyone stared at me. I blushed as everyone knew who I was staring at. "It's okay, Hajun oppa, Minho oppa won't melt", giggled my sister, as I hid my face in my hands.

"So, what's your relationship?", asked my dad, as we all began eating.

"Dad!", I hissed with a blush.

"What's your relationship, as in what are you?", asked my dad.

"We're friends, but I'm courting him", said Minho calmly, as my entire family spit their rice into their napkins.

"WHAT?!", they all gasped.

"Min", I groaned, as I hid my hands in my face.

"I knew something was going on", said my dad.

"They were never more than friends", said my mom.

"I knew it the second they kissed", said my brother.

"Who confessed first?", asked my sister.

Minho laughed as he answered every question leaving no detail. I blushed as I got out of my seat and ran to my room. I hid my face in my pillow as I let myself cool off. I soon heard a knock as I let them in. "Come in", I said, in a muffled voice.

"Are you feeling shy, buttercup?", asked Minho, as my face heated up even more.

"Yeah", I said, as he spun my chair making me face him.

"Don't let them tease you. I like you and the whole world should know that", he said, as he kissed my cheek and pulled me up.

"You're not helping. They're encouraging you", I said.

"I don't know, your family seems fun. Much better than mine", he said.

"I'm sure they're great", I said.

"You don't know but once you say 'yes', you'll meet them", he said proudly.

"Who said I would say 'yes'?", I asked with a grin.

"Cause we're more than friends", he said, as he held my waist gently. He pulled me close as I wrapped my arms around his neck. "I know I flirt with you and everything but I truly mean it. Every word".

"You're amazing. Minho", I whispered, as he hugged me.

"Wanna go back?", he asked. "I'll be there".

"Sure", I blushed, as we went back and sat down.

"Did you two make out?", asked Minjun.

"I wish", Minho said, as I blushed deeply. I felt his right hand slip into mine as he ate with his left.

"You're holding hands under the table?", asked Haeun.

"Yep", said Minho.

"How did you learn to become ambidextrous? That takes a lot of effort", said my dad.

"Anything for, Hajun", he said, as my heart quickened.

After Minho left, my mom talked to me as I helped her clean up. "Hajun, I know I shouldn't overstep, but Minho is amazing. He makes you seem like the only person in the room. He treats you so carefully and I don't even want to meet him again just to know he's good for you", said my mom.

"I know. Minho's amazing. I don't think he'd want to be with me anymore if he spends more time with me", I whispered.

"Don't let him go. You may think that now but people like him are hard to catch", said my mom.

The next day at school, I ran up to Minho as he opened his arms. He pulled me in for a hug as he kissed my cheek. My heart fluttered as he whispered, "Good morning, buttercup". His hands lingered at my waist as I really didn't want him to let go.

"Aren't you going to find me a new nickname?", I asked, as we walked around, hand-in-hand.

"What about, hubby?", he asked, as my face went red.

"I think we're good", I said, as he teasingly smiled. There was a pause before I spoke. "My parents really like you".

"They do?", he asked.

"In fact they love you, my brother and sister too", I added, as he teasingly grinned.

"Then I guess I'm waiting for just you", he said, as I stared at him with a blush on my cheeks.

"Min", I groaned.

"I love it when you call me that", he said, as he grinned like a fool.

"You mean that?", I asked, as I looked away.

"Every word", he said, as he gave my hand a tight squeeze, making my heart flutter.

"I don't know how I can ever pay you back", I said, as my heart raced.

"I have a way", he said, as I listened curiously.

"And that is?", I asked.

"Go out with me", he said.
