Kıvılcım shot Ömer a sharp look. Metehan starts laughing.
Metehan: Ömer bey let me tell you now already. My mom won't apologize if she feels she is right, so I'm going to apologize for her, "We are very sorry for calling you stupid".
Kıvılcım snaps out of her trance.
Kıvılcım: Metehan I can talk for myself. (she turns to Ömer) I won't be apologizing because at that point you were being irresponsible and your daughter was in the car. Wouldn't you call yourself stupid? I mean you could've pulled over the minute you got distracted but you continued driving.
Ömer: I see that I won't be winning this battle. You're very stubborn.
Metehan's eyes go wide.
Metehan: Uh Oh, Ömer bey good luck... I think you just unleashed the beast, I will take my laptop now and get back to work.
He takes his laptop from Kıvılcım and kisses her on the cheek and playfully run away.
Kıvılcım just gave Ömer an angry look and walked away. Ömer starts walking after her.
Ömer: You don't seem like the type of woman who would just walk away Kıvılcım hanım.
Kıvılcım reaches the door. After Ömer's words she abruptly turns around and almost bump into him. He's so close to her that she has to lift her head to look at him. Kıvılcım's scent immediately confused Ömer. He thought is that beautiful scent coming from her body. Kıvılcım not realizing their closeness due to Ömer infuriating her again.
Kıvılcım: One, I walked away because I'll rather not say things to you that could impact how you view my son. Two, don't ever call a woman stubborn especially not a woman like me because I'll let this whole house fall on your head. You understand me?
Ömer still enchanted by Kıvılcım hears familiar footsteps running towards him. With difficulty he pulls away.
Mavi: Baba, can I have... (Mavi sees Kıvılcım and hides behind her father. She tries to whisper but is not very good at it) Baba did the crazy woman come to yell at you again?
Kıvılcım turned her face and couldn't help but softly giggle. Ömer was at this point in his own world and didn't even know what to say because he has repeatedly told Mavi not to call people crazy.
Kıvılcım bent down, to talk to Mavi.
Kıvılcım: I'm Kıvılcım, whats your name?
Mavi hesitantly move away from her father.
Mavi: My name is Mavi Ünal and I'm 4 years old.
Kıvılcım: Nice to meet you Mavi. I'm sorry for shouting the other day. I was not having a good day and when the little accident happened, I got a fright and went a bit crazy.
Mavi: It's okay, I also sometimes go crazy when I'm having a bad day.
Ömer is confused by the twos interaction.
Kıvılcım: You very smart for a 4 year old.
Mavi: Thank you (Mavi jumps forward to Kıvılcım. She touches her hair.) You have very nice hair.
Kıvılcım touches Mavi's cheek.
Kıvılcım: And you have beautiful eyes. (Mavi smiles) I have to go now Mavi, nice meeting you.
Mavi: Bye bye.
Kıvılcım and Ömer makes eye contact before she turns her back and walks away. She gets in her car and drives off. Ömer picks Mavi up and walks inside.
Mavi: I like crazy lady.
Ömer laughs.
Ömer: God give me patience.
The next day at Veritas Gallery:
Kıvılcım and Fatma were huddled in Kıvılcım's office, their conversation hushed and intense. Alas Bey, a frail but sharp-eyed old man, sat opposite them, his gaze piercing.
Alas bey: I've considered your offer, Kıvılcım Hanım and while Veritas Gallery has an impeccable reputation, I'm afraid I cannot sell my collection to you.
Kıvılcım’s heart sank.
Kıvılcım: Alas Bey, may I ask why? We've offered you an excellent price, and we ensure the utmost care and respect for every piece.
Alas bey: Out of the blue someone contacted me and tripled the price of my piece because that's how much it means to them.
Kıvılcım basically realized that for Alas bey it wasn't really about the legacy of those paintings. Fatma interjected.
Fatma: But Alas Bey, Veritas Gallery has always championed the historical significance of art. We have a dedicated team for restoration and preservation.
Alas Bey simply shook his head.
Alas bey: My decision is final. I have already made arrangements. The buyer will be acquiring the collection tomorrow afternoon.
Kıvılcım felt a surge of frustration. This was a significant loss for Veritas, a collection that could have elevated their status even further. She took a deep breath, forcing a professional smile.
Kıvılcım: I understand, Alas Bey. We respect your decision, though we are certainly disappointed. We wish you and the collection all the best. (before alas bey was out the door, Kıvılcım asked) Can I at least ask who you sold it too?
Alas bey: Ünal Holding.
Alas bey left leaving Kıvılcım in utter shock.
Fatma: Isn't that where Metehan works. Where the man who drove into you work. Kıvılcım are you okay?
Kıvılcım: This man is out to ruin me.
Kıvılcım starts packing her things into her bag.
Fatma: Canım just calm down.
Kıvılcım: I can't Fatma. Not untill I settle this. He really is becoming like a pain in the ass.
Kıvılcım is about to leave.
Fatma: Where are you going?
Kıvılcım: To go tell stupid how big of an idiot he is.
Kıvılcım leaves her office and immediately set off to Ünal Holding. It is almost pass Ünal Holdings working times but she's hoping she finds him there.
At Ünal Holding, Ömer was patiently waiting for Kıvılcım to show up. He knew he would struck a nerve when Alas bey called him to say he had told Veritas Gallery that he sold his paintings to someone else and also had told them who he sold it too. With that Ömer already knew that she was going to come for him. Ömer wasn't going to buy those paintings but when he heard one of his staff members say that it was going to be sold to Veritas Gallery, he remembered Metehan telling him his mom owned the gallery. Ömer just wanted Kıvılcım to come to him, to apologize and then he'll sell those paintings back to her.
As Kıvılcım arrived at Ünal Holding she was clearly on a mission. Ömer already warned Gamze that a woman with fire in her eyes will be coming and she should just let him know when she's here.
As soon as Kıvılcım walked in Gamze let him know. She gestured for Kıvılcım to follow her leading Kıvılcım in to Ömer's office. Kıvılcım for a second observed his spacious office. From the dark brown furniture to the bookshelf filled with books.
Ömer turned his chair and looked at an again angry Kıvılcım. She was dressed in a long black dress with a slit on the left leg and a deep cleavage, stiletto red and black heels and her coat. Ömer couldn't help but scan her from head to toe. This woman was immensely sexy and his face couldn't hide it as he looked flustered.
Kıvılcım broke the crazy atmospheric silence.
Kıvılcım: I didn't think you'll become a bigger idiot? How dare you mess with my world?
