Sapphire shed a tear as she relived all of her flashbacks from her past; laughed at for being the only royal with a terrible family inherited by royals who believed they were better than everyone else, called useless for being a witch with undeveloped powers as a child, and the murder of her family by hunters.
Sapphire was the only witch in her family bloodline, but she never had any powers to protect herself until now. She wanted more power and status even if that meant holding a meeting with the goat himself and sacrificing her brother for the invocation.
She closed her eyes and chanted a simple two sentence spell six times to gain access to the devil. The devil formed sitting in the middle of the circle.
"What do you need Madmoiselle?"
"I want those who belittled me and those who hurt my family to finally pay the price." She said clenching her fist restricting the flow of blood through them. 'I want power that this dimension hasn't seen yet."
"Such a grandiose request." The goat stroked his beard. "I can give you some powers, but the full package will have to wait."
"Why must I wait?"
"To prove that you're strong enough. The ultimate power is only for one strong being without the strength to contain it it'll lead to destruction of every dimension and realm
"What will I receive?"
The goat's eyes flashed a bloody red before sending a stinging shock through her whole body. Sapphire tensed her muscles before screaming in agony. The goat laughed and clapped his claws together.
Sapphire laid unconscious covered in a lavender gown, and a dark purple necklace crafted from a manipulative dragon scale. The devil written important forbidden tasks on a stone slab before fading away.
7 hours later
Sapphire awoke using her hand to push herself up feeling the warmth of the slab under her palm.
"What's this?" She asked sitting up before laying her eyes upon the stone slab and reading the messages.
1. Do not let anyone know you're a real witch
2. Never fall in love
3. Never bring anyone back to life
4. Never allow god into the realm
5. NEVER OPPOSE ME....... EVER!!
Further Note. Some of these will be adjusted as your powers grow. More rules may be added if I think of them.
Sapphire placed the slab down. "These will be easy rules to follow."
