🌒 Pre-Fade Timeline (Last 3,000 Years)
-3000 AF (After First Fade):
The Nullspires are built by the Order of the First Light to seal breaches to the Void.
Lord Nyxar is born as Kael Ardyn, a gifted Seer in the Order.
-1800 AF:
Kael Ardyn betrays the Order, discovering the Void ritual Voidwake.
Kael becomes Lord Nyxar, abandoning his name and humanity.
The first Hollow incursions begin.
-500 AF:
The Skyborne civil war tears their floating cities apart. Maelis Vox is born during the chaos.
Luke Nixon is born in the borderlands during a Void eclipse - one of few children to survive.
Ereval Nocturne is raised by the Moon Choir, trained as a silent blade against darkness.
-100 AF:
Leo Smith appears in the world - no birth record, no memory of a childhood.
Lord Nyxar goes dormant; The Hollow King rises in his absence.
Year 0 - Current Cycle Begins
The First Fade begins. Blackmere's moon disappears.
All characters receive a dream: a door locked from the inside and a voice whispering, "Open it."
Stars begin dying - and only Leo seems to remember which ones are gone.
