They weren't supposed to exist.

Not in this reality. Not in any other. Two anomalies. Two variables impossible to predict, understand, or control. They defy all logic, all rules, every form of reason—even those respected by the most unstable universes. Their souls, their powers, their very existence... everything about them is a dissonance in the fragile song of the multiverse.

And it is that song I am charged with preserving.

I am Ink, guardian of the multiverse, watcher of timelines, protector of the possible and the impossible. Where the world collapses, I rise. Where chaos erupts, I intervene. I create nothing. I destroy nothing. I watch. I observe. I correct.
And sometimes... I erase.

But never—never—have I seen anything like them.

They came from nowhere. Their origins are blurred, impossible to trace. The timelines refuse to speak of them. Their homeworld seems to have been erased. As if the universe itself chose to forget. A cosmic censorship. A deliberate vanishing. I searched the archives of the Void, consulted the oldest memories of the Guardians, questioned the fragments of dead realities... and I found only emptiness. An absence more threatening than any presence.

And yet, they are here. Real. Tangible. Inexplicable.

Their names are Lila and Elise.

I let them into my group. Not out of kindness. Not out of curiosity. Out of necessity. Watching them, keeping them close—that was the only way to understand. The only way to contain what I could not yet fight.

At first, they showed nothing. Just two lost teenagers, tossed from one world to another, trying to survive. But soon, their presence began to disrupt the balance around them. Universes trembled. Timelines frayed. Beings who were once constants began to change. And I could no longer look away.

Elise was the first to unsettle me.

She had this smile—soft, sincere, almost comforting. Eyes that shone with rare empathy, genuine and almost too pure for this multiverse. And yet, beneath that peaceful façade, her soul chilled me to the core.

It was a fragment of a monster soul, deep and dense blue, fused with the most intense human Determination I have ever seen. That kind of combination shouldn't be possible. Even in the most twisted alternate timelines, such a fusion is an absolute paradox.
And yet... she exists. She breathes. She feels. She evolves.

She wields the powers of the Sans. Gaster Blasters. Teleportation. Soul manipulation. Techniques that should only be accessible to those with the right genetic inheritance, direct descendants of certain versions of Gaster or Sans himself. Yet she uses them with unsettling ease. As if a forgotten legacy lives within her. As if something—or someone—entrusted her with that burden.

And despite all that power, all that anomaly, she remains... human. Blindly trusting. Too naive. She places her faith in those around her with disarming certainty. As if she's unaware of the true nature of the multiverse. Or worse... as if she refuses to see it.

She spent five years in the Underswap universe. Five long years weaving bonds, reshaping dynamics, gaining the trust of those she should've feared. She eventually married US!Papyrus. An act that might have seemed insignificant. But that marriage... it was a shockwave. A rupture in the logical flow of that universe. A major derailment. A breaking point.

Blueberry, ever himself, seems unbothered. He sees her as a friend, almost a sister. He protects her, stands by her, encourages her. He doesn't see the slow poison she's injecting into the order of things.
But I do.
And I understand what she is capable of causing.

And then... there's Lila.

She is different. Coldly calm. Always silent, always on guard. She doesn't speak much. She watches. She analyzes. She often stares at me, eyes veiled with a deep, instinctive mistrust. She knows. She may not know everything, but she senses that I am not to be trusted. She doesn't need to say it. Everything about her screams it.

Her soul is a nightmare to any multiverse guardian. A chaotic fusion of hatred and Determination. Two opposing forces. Two extremes that should never coexist. And yet, she manages it. She maintains balance... at the cost of constant tension. Like a bomb ready to explode, choosing—second by second—not to detonate.

In her eyes, I see fire. An ancient fire. A rage time has not extinguished. A deep, rooted wound. She bears the weight of a past no one knows. And she refuses to let anyone get close. She is a fighter. A survivor. A soul forged by blood and flame.

And above all—she doesn't trust me.

And she's right.

She has every reason to.

Because I, Ink, guardian of worlds,
am not their ally.
I am not their friend.
I am the bulwark.

The last wall between order and unraveling.
The guardian of the fragile balance between harmony and destruction.

And if Lila and Elise truly are what I fear they are...
If they are the seeds of a coming cataclysm,
If their very existence threatens the foundation of every reality—

Then I will break them.
I will hunt them.
I will cast them into an endless hell until the multiverse regains the balance they stole.
