"Chae," he murmured, kissing along her shoulder. "Tell me if anything hurts."
"Only if you stop," she whispered, pulling him back to her with a tremble in her voice. "Don't stop."
He didn't.
Hands mapped familiar skin like it was sacred now, like he'd waited years to learn her like this—with reverence, with urgency, with awe.
Clothes were discarded between sighs and stifled laughs, sheets rumpled as they found each other again and again. No need to rush. No fear left. Just breathless heat and the weight of all their finallys poured into touch, into rhythm, into closeness that didn't feel real until now.
And when she came undone under him, whispering his name like it meant something—he kissed her through it, voice shaking against her ear.
"I'm here," he said, breathless and raw. "I've got you."
Later, tangled in her sheets, bodies still flushed and slick with warmth, Jungkook traced lazy circles on her hip and said, almost disbelievingly,
"We really did this."
Chaeyoung nuzzled closer, smiling into his chest. "Yeah. Finally."

They lay tangled in the aftermath, still catching their breath—cheeks flushed, limbs warm, laughter bubbling up between kisses that hadn't quite stopped. Jungkook was stretched out beside her, one arm thrown lazily over her waist, the other tracing idle circles on her bare back.
Chaeyoung stared at the ceiling, a dazed smile playing on her lips. "Wow."
Jungkook turned his head, grinning. "Yeah. Wow."
They both started laughing.
"You're so annoying," she muttered, poking his side.
"You're literally sitting on top of me five minutes ago and now I'm annoying?" he teased, eyes gleaming.
"You're still annoying."
She didn't move.
He kissed her shoulder, lips warm and slow. "You're unreal," he murmured. "Seriously, Chaeyoung. What are you doing to me?"
She hummed, smile widening. "Returning the favor?"
He laughed again, that full, open laugh that made her chest feel like it was being squeezed. Then, out of nowhere—
"I'm thirsty," she said.
Jungkook perked up immediately. "I'll get you water."
Before she could say anything, he was already halfway off the bed, walking toward the door in nothing but his boxers.
"Jungkook," she called after him, raising a brow. "In this world, there's a thing called pants."
He turned around mid-step, completely unbothered. "Babe, you think the fridge cares?"
And with that, he disappeared down the hall, chuckling to himself.
Left alone, Chaeyoung reached for her phone. Just as she unlocked it, a familiar ding echoed—then another. It was from the work group chat.
Monday morning meeting. 9:00 sharp. Don't forget the revised site plans.
She groaned, rubbing her face. But instinct took over, and in a matter of seconds, she was pulling her iPad closer from the nightstand and opening up the project files, scrolling through notes and sketches like they hadn't just... you know, crossed a few personal boundaries.
Jungkook came back in a minute later, holding a glass of water. "Here you go," he said, walking in with a small smile—then stopping mid-step when he saw her posture.
"You're already working?"
Chaeyoung accepted the glass absentmindedly, still focused on the screen. "We forgot the civic area revisions, remember? If we just swap out that northwest section—"
He stared at her, completely in awe. "You're seriously trying to brief me on the civic layout... while you're not wearing anything?"
She blinked, like just realizing, and then looked down at herself.
"Oh my God—I didn't mean it like that!"
Jungkook just laughed, dropping beside her again and resting his chin on her shoulder. "No, no, it's fine. I love a good multitask. Sexy and productive."
"Shut up," she muttered, cheeks burning, trying not to smile.
But he just leaned closer, voice low in her ear.
"You keep talking about zoning regulations while looking like that, and I might have to revisit phase one of tonight's agenda."
Chaeyoung groaned. "I take it back. You're not sexy. You're evil."
He just laughed, pressing a soft kiss behind her ear.
"Still obsessed with you, though."
