A month. It had been a month since my friends disappeared on the island. I know I shouldn't have, but I've lost all hope. The island was completely gone as well. I've decided that I'm going to carry out the last promise I made to the person I looked up to most, Erza. I remember it like it had happened only a few minutes ago.
"Erza, Erza!" A young (Y/N) shouted to her idol. "Be back soon, okay?!" The young girl gave her one of the things she was most known for, her contagious smiles.
"Will do, but continue your training, (Y/N). One day, I have no doubt that you'll be as strong as me, maybe even stronger."
"You really think so?!" They (E/C) eyed girl asked with a twinkle in her eye.
"I know so." The scarlet haired Requip Mage told the girl. "Just promise to train hard, and never give up on your dream until you've achieved it."
"I promise."
Those words of wisdom, that conversation, I will never forget. I made a promise, and I won't break that promise. I turned back one last time to look at the guild, my home.
I can't turn back, I won't turn back. I will fulfill my ambitions. I will bring Fairy Tail great honor, even if it's the last thing I do.
