The conference room was as silent as a tomb, except for the rhythmic tapping of a single pen against mahogany. Every eye in the room flickered with tension as Rudraksh Singh Rathore, the tycoon whose name sent chills through boardrooms and slums alike, sat at the head of the table. The tailored black suit sculpted his broad frame, but it was his eyes—icy and unreadable—that held more power than his empire’s billions.
He adjusted his cufflink, slow and deliberate.
“Mr. Sharma,” Rudraksh’s voice was calm, lethal, “explain why Rathore Industries’ shares dipped 0.3% yesterday.”
“I-I... sir, it was just market fluctuation—”
“I don’t pay you to guess. I pay you to ensure my company never falters. Not even by 0.1%.”
His voice never rose, but the room seemed to freeze. In just three years, Rudraksh had transformed a legacy firm into a corporate beast. His strategies were unorthodox, ruthless—but always effective. Mergers, takeovers, lawsuits—he played them all like chess.
“Fix it. Or find a new job.”
He stood, gathering his documents as everyone else scrambled to follow.
Outside the glass wall, media waited for his glimpse. Phones flashed. “Sir, just one quote!”
Rudraksh walked past without a glance. His time was currency. And in his world, even seconds had a price.
