I will not call myself a good person, nor a bad one. But a person, I am indeed.
My charm and wit will fool you. I am a mirror of what I want you to think I am.

Though it's not fun to talk about, I firmly believe I have a purpose—despite this disorder.
Between extreme behavior and unique brain wiring, good can be found even in the darkest parts of mental health.

One to four percent of Americans are diagnosed with Antisocial Personality Disorder.
I am one of them.

I was 15 when I was diagnosed by a doctor whose name I can't recall.
He studied me behind the scenes, while I was in a boys' home. (More on that later.)

I hope that parents reading this will find hope—that their child can thrive in society.
And for those diagnosed, I want them to see that their reality can still connect with everyone else's.
