The next day,when lee know went to Han's house to walk to school together as usual, Han wasn't there.Before it even turned 8:00, the time they normally left, Han had already left his house early—clearly trying to avoid what had happened yesterday.

Lee know's POV

Lee Know waited for Han longer than necessary, and when he finally realized Han was avoiding him, he huffed in annoyance. He knew exactly why Han was keeping his distance—because of what happened the day before. Still, he was determined to find him and apologize.

Without wasting another second, Lee Know began walking quickly to school, searching every corridor, hallway, and classroom. It didn't take long before he spotted Han walking alone toward his locker. But just as he started to approach him, Han noticed and immediately turned around, running away from him.

Lee Know noticed han running away and quickly caught up, grabbing his wrist to stop him.

Lee Know: "Hey. Stop running. We need to talk."

He didn't wait for a response before pulling han into an empty classroom. Once inside, he closed the door behind him and finally let go of hans wrist.

Lee Know: "Stop running away from me. I want to apologize for yesterday."

Han: (-_-)

Lee Know waited for Han to speak as Han just stood there quietly, staring at him. The silence was killing him. Even though Lee Know had secret feelings for Han, he knew he shouldn't have done something that stupid—especially since he knew Han was straight. Still, he didn't want to lose his best friend just because he couldn't express his feelings properly.

Lee Know:Please, just say something. I said I'm sorry.

Han: "Well sorry doesn't fix it. You knew I was saving my first kiss. You knew I was straight, and yet you still kissed me forcefully.

Before Lee Know could say another word, Han ran out of the classroom. Lee Know felt his heart drop, realizing he was losing his best friend,the one who knew everything about his family and problems, the one he shared all his secrets with... his first love.

As Lee Know left the classroom, he ran into his friend group—Bang Chan, Changbin, and Hyunjin all of whom knew about his crush on Han.

Changbin: Hey Lee Know.

Lee Know: Shut the fuck up.

Changbin: Who made you so cranky? Was it your boyfriend?

Lee Know: For the last time, Han is not my boyfriend. He's just a friend.

Changbin: oh but You love him so much—always fantasizing about holding him in your arms

Lee Know slaps Changbin on the back of the head.

Changbin:Oww! Ugh, what was that for? I was kidding!

Bangchan: Can you two not fight for even one second, just one day?

Bangchan spoke up, annoyed that it was too early in the morning to hear them fighting.

Changbin: But he started it!

Lee Know: I wasn't. You're just a dumbass with a big mouth.

Changbin: Hey I'm not the dumbass—you are! Who do you think you're calling dumb?

Lee Know: I'm calling you dumb.

Bangchan: "Just let me have five seconds of peace and quiet.

The two kept arguing while Bangchan complained about how they were always fighting. Hyunjin had run off about five minutes ago and was now flirting with a couple of girls.

They all went their separate ways to their morning classes. Han was in the same class, but Lee Know desperately wanted to talk to him. Still, he felt Han might run away again, so Lee Know chose to sit beside someone else, not wanting to make Han uncomfortable with his presence.

The whole morning, it felt like God just wanted Lee Know to suffer—he kept seeing Han everywhere. He had to fight the urge to run over and beg for forgiveness, wanting Han to have time to think about whether he still wanted to be his best friend. Then the bell rang, signaling the end of morning classes and the start of lunch. Lee Know sat at his usual table with Bangchan, Changbin, and Hyunjin.
