That beach really did see everything didn't it?
After that afternoon, it was days before they were suspected of anything. Well, neteyam he couldn't hide anything from his parents until now.
Neytiri knew her son. The minute his mother looked into his eyes that night after being with her, she knew. Before fully confessing, he talked to his brother first. He didn't really have any options right now, kiri was barely even in the marui and she's probably with Maelie or Tsireya and if she weren't, she was out on the ocean alone. Tuk is too young, the only available option he has right now is Lo'ak. And if it helps, he has Tsireya right now.
Neteyam was looking for Lo'ak he circled the hammocks, the beaches, rocks, the mangrove's, he finally found Lo'ak behind the marui's walking through a small pathway in the middle of the beach. He called out to him.
"Baby Bro!" He chuckled before running over to him. Lo'ak looked back and rolled his eyes. "What is it?" He asked before stopping in front of a palm tree.
"So..How are you and Tsireya?" Neteyam started. He didn't really care that much about his brother's love life since..ever. But since Maelie and him are something now. "Since were you so curious about me and her?" Lo'ak asked before meeting his brothers eyes and he had a lump on his throat. Almost the same second he realized.
"Did you..?" He asked, laughing. Neteyam couldn't help but nod with pride.
"Skxawng," Lo'ak shoved his brother by the rib, neteyam wincing in pain. "With who?"
"Maelie."
"Honestly, bro, we kind of expected it." He laughed before turning away and walking again. Neteyam followed. "Who's we?"
"Everyone. It's not like you guys made an effort to hide it anyway, little conversation by the beach after eclipse, You ditching me and Aonung to go and hang out with her. And if you guys were trying, you were stupid." Lo'ak teased.
"How do I hide it then?" Neteyam wondered before pushing a braid off his face. "Hide it from who?" "Mom" "It's not like she doesn't know. Plus, she likes maelie anyway. And dad will just laugh at your face and eventually accept it, like he did with me and Tsireya." He rambled.
"You didn't," Lo'ak widened his eyes and looked him up and down. "did you?"
"No way, bro!" Neteyam huffed. Lo'ak laughed before running off to the other side of the beach and calling out "I am going to find tsireya, if she wont ditch me for Veikxi this time" He said before waving and laughing once again.
Neteyam sighed before walking back to where he was previously was. On his way, he was spotted by Aonung. "Great Warrior! You look troubled"
Neteyam rolled his eyes and stopped in his tracks. "It's none of your business" he stated. "Well it is if its my cousin" He retorted. "How'd you know?"
"It's obvious in your eyes if you did something bad, because you barely do anything bad. And i can assure you that what you did wasn't. You can love, neteyam."
"Since when were you so full of wisdom?" He chuckled, but aonung's words struck a string inside him that he didn't even know was unplayed. "Since you decided to crawl around my cousin's business, you do know that she doesn't do this often right?" Aonung walked closer to him. "I know about her father." Neteyam assured. "Thats surprising"
