Run Away!

"Trust me! I am an expert." I said winking at Anuja, she was worried I had eloped."Getting out for parties already gave me hands on!" I told her. She was my fellow passenger in the Amritsar-Delhi train. I had managed my escape. I had flunk from my own wedding ceremony. No Please! Not with my boyfriend, I was all alone. I never wanted to get married before I achieved something in my life.

Anuja was still surprised to see me this way. "But how could you? it was your Big Day!" she seemed to be completely disapproving of my step but she didn't know of my entire life. After all it was just 10 minutes that we had met.

I had already changed my outfit before leaving. I had my savings in my bag. I had been saving my earnings from the part time tuition I gave to our neighborhood kids ever since got to know of my family's plans to marry me off to some rich guy of our community as soon as I am done with my graduation.
Completely unacceptable!

I wanted to make a mark! Achieve something in life and not remain struck in those rigid values that stink of hypocrisy.
