Hui Ying had started to push herself up, forcing herself to at least be able to sit up.
Duan Xu kneeled in front of her, his eyes full of worry as he stared at her. "Be careful." He spoke, quickly picking out some napkin for her nose as he held it for her. "Are you okay?" He asked, his voice soft as Sang Yan lightly pushed away the other people.
The teachers were now looking straight at her, and with that look she knew what that meant.
Guan Ran came running towards them, his head in his hands as worry was spread across his face. With his look, Hui Ying almost knew it was his ball that had landed on her face. "I'm so sorry, i wasn't trying to hit you." Guan Ran spoke, looking at Sang Zhi with almost an apologetic look.
"You shouldn't have been playing anywhere near her in the first place." Duan Xu spoke, shaking his head in disapproval.
Hui Ying waved her hand, trying to tell it was okay. "It's okay." She muttered, trying to make sure her voice wasn't shaking too much from the impact. She suddenly felt Sang Zhi's hands behind her, trying to lift her up.
"Let's get you to nursing spot." She spoke, knowing that Duan Xu was head of that spot for the day.
Hui Ying could only agree, not really shaking her head but humming as she tried to hold back the tears she was now forming. With Sang Zhi on one side and Sang Yan on her other side, the two supported her while she walked as her legs were giving out. Duan Xu held the bloody napkin over her nose, making a mental note that he had to give her clean one in the infirmary.

DUAN XU STEPPED INSIDE THE MEDICAL CENTER, his eyes looking for the needed materials to stop the bleeding from Hui Ying's nose. "Sit down first." He spoke, nodding towards the table bed that was standing in the center.
His hands guided her to sit down, his eyes watching her while his hands never left her waist. "Be careful." He commented, his eyes watching over her.
He grabbed the bloody napkin from her nose, looking at her with some sort of worry as he noticed that the blood had stopped pouring down. His head signaled a small nod, like he was speaking internally to himself. "Pinch your nose." He spoke while he started to search for some sort of spray.
Hui Ying watched lightly, still shocked at what had happened. Her hands shaked as she placed them towards her nose, pinching it as she leaned forward.
Although the bleeding had stopped, it was never certain it had stopped completely.
"Let me see." Duan Xu spoke, softly grabbing her hand as he started to guide her hand away from her nose. He softly swiped some of the blood away with a wet napkin, making sure her nose wasn't covered in blood anymore.
Hui Ying watched him, and although she felt embarrassed about the whole thing. Him caring for her like that sent something towards her, like a feeling that she wasn't supposed to be feeling.
He threw away the now bloody napkin as he guided her head a lightly higher. "I don't think it's broken. You got lucky." He spoke, a little smile playing on his face as he looked at her.
Hui Ying shook her head, lowering her head as her cheeks grew red. "I don't feel very lucky." Hui Ying spoke, shaking her head before grabbing it immediately. She let out a hiss as the room started to spin lightly, she had definitely underestimated how hard the ball had hit her.
"Are you okay?" Duan xu grabbed her head, his eyes searching her face for any symptoms that he could recognize. "Is it your head?" Hea sked.
Hui Ying nodded her head, biting her lip as she shut her eyes as hard as she could. She hoped that it would stop the world from spinning so fast.
Duan Xu quickly went over towards the ice packs, wrapping it in some cloth before he went back towards Hui Ying. He guided her hand away from the place that was hurting as he replaced it with the ice pack he was holding.
He kept holding it there, he didn't make Hui Ying hold it herself. He sat beside her, looking at her head while he held it there.
It made the girl look at him, she looked at him with a look in her eyes that even she couldn't explain. "Why are you looking at me like that?" His voice rang in her ears as her eyes stared at him.
"What's the matter? Is your head hurting?" He asked, his eyes watching her as he slowly removed the ice from her head.
She only shook her head. "No, it's just. . . Thank you." She spoke, giving him a small nod as she looked away. She could feel her cheeks growing red, which was something she didn't want Duan Xu to see.
His lips grew into a small smile, a smirk almost as he nodded his head. "it's what i do." He spoke, nodding his head as he guided the ice back onto her head. "Plus i couldn't just let you lay there, bleeding." He spoke, laughing lightly which made her roll her eyes.
"Jerk." she said, hitting him lightly with her elbow. "i can do it myself." She spoke, grabbing the ice from him as she placed it on her head.
Duan Xu laughed, standing up as he started to throw away the waste he still had laying there.
Hui Ying sighed, letting out a huf as she kept her ice there. She tried to calm down her thoughts, trying to stop the hear from flushing her cheeks.
The small gestures was one thing, but the way his eyes looked when something was wrong made her feel all mushy. There was no way she was falling for his charm, like Sang Zhi had said.
Sang Zhi had said that Duan Xu had this charm over him that made a lot of girls fall for him, The younger girl had always told her that she knew Hui Ying was too smart for his charm.
But maybe she wasn't, maybe she was exactly like the girls he always charmed.
And that, frightened her.
