Spring, 2022.

HUI YING WAS IN THE MIDDLE OF DRINKING HER BUBBLE TEA, when they all started to sing happy birthday to Fu Zhengchu. It was his birthday and he had apperently thrown some sort of party.

Hui Ying hadn't known about it, and she was sure Sang Zhi also had no idea it was even his birthday. The only person who had known about his birthday and the party, was Wang Yilan.

The cheering continued, and Hui Ying had became annoyed at how long this party was going for. Sang Zhi was too busy to notice the annoyed face Hui Ying was showing as she was talking to Gaun Ran. Hui Ying wasn't angry about it, she was actually excited that her friend had started to talk to him.

It was refreshing to see it.

"We wish for you to have a good health!" A guy Hui Ying didn't know spoke, placing a hand on his shoulders as they all cheered. "Good luck!" Wang Yilan shouted, cheering as well.

Hui Ying sipped from her bubble tea, not really caring about this party as it was all kids who were younger than her and not her friends. Being eighteen had thought her many things, and birthday party's was not her scene.

Some people love birthday party's and will hold them with 50 guests at 50 years old, other's like a more tight knit thing. They like two or even only their partner to be there. That's what Hui Ying wanted, she couldn't stand the big things.

"Come on!" Another guy spoke, stoping the group from cheering further. "Let's have cake!" He commented, actual excitement revealing his face.

Hui Ying tried to act excited, hoping that maybe she'd blend in the crowd and got this over with fast.

The group sat around the cake, a white cake with blue frosting. The male who had announced it was time to eat cake had brought out a lighter, lighting up the candle on the cake.

"Make a wish!" Another boy chanted, encouraging Fu Zhangchu to make a wish.

Hui Ying had started to sit down, her legs hurting from standing up the whole time. She knew if Sang Zhi was paying attention to her that she would have probably commented something about how old she was getting.

Wang Yilan smiled widely, making sure the camera was capturing every moment there was. "Make a wish." She spoke softly with a smile.

Fu Zhangchu smiled, looking behind him as he saw Hui Ying sitting on the couch, drinking her bubble tea. He grabbed the mic, holding it tightly as his eyes stayed on Hui Ying. "This is my wish!" He spoke.

His hands grabbed her wrist, pulling her up wish made her drop her bubble tea on the couch. Although she gasped, other's were in awe that she was his wish.

She groaned, looking down at the spilled bubble tea on the floor. "I hate when men ruin my bubble tea time." She muttered, not loud enough for everyone to hear but loud enough.

"Hui Ying," He began, his eyes staring at her in such an intense way that made her almost want to run away. "I want to tell you something." He spoke, smiling widely at her.

She prayed that he wasn't going to confess his love, she would hate that.

Sang Zhi had started to pay attention to what was happening, her eyes were wide as she watched her friend be basically confessed to.

"Can you not?" Hui Ying's voice rang high, like an echo in a cave. She really didn't mean for it to be rude, to dismiss his wish but she couldn't let him confess his love to her in front of his friends. Although she didn't like him, she wanted to save him from the embarrassment of convincing.
