This chapter should be a little interesting, considering it's going to be in multiple PoV's... Also, I will be setting small goals for each chapter. What I mean is, at the end of each part I'll say something like Goal: 5 reads, 1 vote and 1 comment. Is that too much? Lemme know... Also, forgot to say this but the mother's name is Klaire... Don't judge ;-; ―A.

[]Yoru's PoV[]
I stared at the ground quietly, listening to the growing cries of Lovi's mom. Lovi and Romano had been missing for the past few hours and she had called me to see if I knew where they were.
"Last I saw them was with Toni," I had told her. "He said Lovi had been acting weird all day."
I knew Antonio. The guy would never hurt Romano and Lovi. Hell, they were practically his siblings. I continued staring down, lost in thought, occasionally trying to comfort Ms. Vargas. Her eyes were red from crying.
"My children. . ." she sobbed. "Where could they be?"
"I dunno, it's too early to call the cops," I muttered, wincing as the mother of two cried with grief.
As much as I was worried about my friends, I couldn't help but think about my past. See, I'm not from this world. I was from a land everyone thinks is fictional, forced to live in this modern world. Closing my eyes, I sighed and thought about the memories I made with my old friends.
[]Fiore, Earth Land. Lucy's PoV.[]
"Have you found anything yet, Levy?" I asked, setting down the book I was skimming through.
"No, sorry, Lucy. . ." She muttered. "It's been almost a year and we still haven't found a way to bring her back, even with Piper, Annabeth and Calypso helping."
I sighed and rested my head in my arms. Like Levy said, it was almost a year since our friend had been cursed and taken to a different world. Try as we might, we just couldn't find an answer. She disappeared the day those eight new wizards, who were apparently from somewhere called Camp Half-Blood―I still don't know where that is―joined our guild. Everyone in the guild watched as she dissolved into the air, muttering something about a curse.
"I just don't get it!" Annabeth sighed. "I don't get how a person with flesh and blood can just disappear like that!"
"I don't get it either, Annabeth," Calypso murmured. "Perhaps we triggered the curse she spoke of."
"Hold on, what was the prophecy she told us again?" Levy asked me. "Maybe it's connected somehow."
"Five shall go west to three who've come,
To return the lost, the dragon and the devil all in one,
Should they fail, the wicked rise,
And the ones who fall are the ones who fly."
Piper looked down at the open book in front of her, twirling the bright blue feather in her braided brown hair. She shook her head, muttering to herself.
"Well, I understand the 'five go west' portion but, who are the three?" Piper asked.
"'The lost, the dragon and the devil.'"Annabeth repeated. "Maybe those are the three?"
"It makes sense," I agreed. "But, the last line is what I don't get."
Annabeth thought for a moment, "It means the ones who lose in battle or something end up winning."
I continued skimming through the book when I heard a familiar voice.
"Hey, guys!" Natsu's voice cheered. "What's up?"
"Still trying to find a solution to how and why she disappeared," Piper smiled.
Natsu frowned, "Who are we talking about?"
"Natsu! Have you really forgotten about her?" I snapped.
"Sorry. . . But seriously, who are we lookin' for?"
"The Sun God Slayer, Yoru Zambia."

Words: 619.
Ugh, this chapter was way too short for my liking. Anyways, I'll upload the next part soon! As for the goal thing, I'll probably upload even if we never reached the goal.
Goal: 7 reads, 1 vote.
