I put the last clothe on my bag and looked at my brother again. "I promise I'll be okay." I smiled.

As long as I entered Goldie's place, I heard the loud banging of music and the noise of the crowd. I even cringed my nose when I smell the scent of liquor and cigarette. So this is the smell of party? I roamed my eyes around and saw my batch mates. Some even waved at me.

Goldie's house was an understatement. I mean it was a mansion. There is a large chandelier hanging in their living room. Their floor was carpeted and the room was surrounded by gold and maroon curtains. This was a perfect place to live for a rich girl like her. But because she is having a party, the mansion's living room seems to be a club. It's not like I've been to clubs but it will be likely as how the books describe it. There were some who is making out in every corner. Some are dancing at the top of the table. Some are puking. I sighed. I am expecting a movie marathon with lots of foods and laughs. I should have realized that my batch mates are rule breakers and so liberated. Though I don't like events like these, I need to blend for good. I was even labeled as the centurial girl because I am so old fashioned.

"Oh my God! Anna? The valedictorian? You are here?" Goldie squealed showing a shocking expression upon seeing me. He even looked at me from head to foot then he eyed my large bag pack like saying that I am such a stupid skunk for bringing stuffs not needed for this party. "What are you doing here? I mean you can be here but seriously? What are you doing here? And what are those things are for?" She referred to my bag and the sleeping bag in my hand.

"I-" I felt a little awkward because of her reaction. I was never informed with the To-Do's in this party. I just received a GM from one of our batch mate regarding this party. All I want is to blend normally at these persons but I think it will be hard to do so since this is the first time I joined partying with them. "I am invited and I am your... batch mate."

"I know." Her chocolate brown eyes kept on eyeing me before she gave me a tight hug. I cringed my nose even more. She smells like alcohol. No doubt that she is the so called party girl in our batch. She loosens her hug and held my shoulders with both of her hands. "You are so welcome here. I mean, welcome to our world. Enjoy and have fun! And you can put aside that sleeping bag because we are so not going to sleep."

"What? I mean, uhm, sure, I will." I gave her an assuring smile before she squealed again because another visitor arrived. I never had been this idiot before. I was always the all-knowing in our class. I am the intelligent and never be the dumb one but because of these party, I felt like I am such a big loser.

"Zeeeb baby. You're here. You are so damn hot." I heard Goldie squealed again and I saw how she threw herself toward Zeb, one of our batch mates who were in the last section.

I shook my head at the view. Goldie can be so accommodating, hospitable and a bit flirt. I mean, she had hooked up with many guys in our school and in other schools. So Zeb can never be out of the list. He's hot, good looking and dumb so no doubt. I wonder how her parents will react if they will know what she has been doing on her entire school days. I can't imagine my parents face if they will be disappointed in me just because I don't do my responsibilities well.

I shrugged off the idea and walked straight to where the food was placed. It was in a long rectangular table on the end of the hall. Nice. At least there are descent foods and the house – I mean, the mansion was big enough. There will be plenty of rooms for us to spare if we will sleep already. I put my bags beside the table and took a plate for something to eat. Hindi pa naman ako nag d-dinner. As how I said, this is not the party that I expected.

I looked at the foods and wondered how I will drink if there are no refreshments. There are some drinks but they are alcohols they call tequila, scotch, beer, and such. I know we're not still in legal age but my batch mates love to break some rules. As how they proclaimed our batch motto: "Rules are meant to be broken." Well, I am also their rule breaker because I never follow their rules.
