Lilac (Criminal Minds Fanfiction)

A Failed Explanation

[The scene opens up with Morgan and Reid walking back and getting into the SUV where Lilac is waiting. The address they were given had given them a few more clues but was pretty much a dead end.]

(Lilac) "Agent Morgan?"

(Morgan) "yes ma'am?"

"Can you take me to my friends house. I need to tell them what's going on or else they'll be getting way too worried."

"Who will you be going to see?"

"Sebastian and my friend Jennifer. You already meet Sebastian."

"Sure but we'll have to wait for you so you can't be too long."

"Okay."

[The scene switches to Lilac walking away from the SUV towards a house. She enters]

(Lilac) "Hello? Sebastian? Jennifer? Where are you guys? Come on Sebastian don't be an ass. Where are you?"

[Out of nowhere Lilac gets struck on the back of the head and she falls over. She quickly turns and tries to defend herself but her sight is blurred from the hit and she feels shaky. She tries to grab the blurry figure of a person in front of her but she slips and falls forward. The other person turns her around and puts a white rag over her face and within a couple of seconds Lilac was unconscious. The other person picked her up, laid her over her shoulder, and started to carry her. The scene switched to you seeing Lilac being put in between the back seats of a four door convertible mustang with the top down. The person duck tapes her mouth and handcuffs her to a rod under the drivers seat. The scene then switches to Morgan sitting in the SUV. He's been waiting a while and starts to get a little uncomfortable. A blue, four door mustang drives up beside him and honks. He rolls down his window. In the drivers seat a brown haired lady in her 20's.]

(Driver) "Can I help you with something sir?"

(Morgan) "Sorry miss, I'm just waiting to pick up a friend."

(Driver) "What's your name?"

(Morgan) "I'm Derek."

(Driver) "Okay just be careful. It's not the best neighborhood. You could get kidnapped or something."

(Morgan) "Okay, thank you."

[The driver chuckles and before speeding off says to Morgan "No problem gorgeous."]

(Morgan) "speaking of gorgeous."

[Morgan pulls out his phone calls Garcia.]

(Morgan) "hey baby how's it going?"

"Great but I need you to hurry back with Lilac, we have a program that we need to help entering."

"She's inside at her friends house but I'll go in and get her."

"Okay sugar. See you when you get here."

[Morgan hangs up and walks up to the door. He knocks.]

"Hey, Lilac. Open up, we gotta go. Penelope says she's got something for you."

[After waiting for a while Morgan tries the door handle and walks inside.]

"Yo, Lilac."

[Morgan walks around the corner to see a hallway table knocked over and Lilacs phone sitting on the floor. He grabs it then races around the house calling out for Lilac. He races out back to see that Lilac is gone. He punches the frame of the door with the side of his fist and reached for his phone. He calls Rossi.]

"Rossi, hey it's Morgan. Can Penelope hear you? [He replies no] Lilac is missing. There's signs of a struggle in the house where she was supposed to meet a friend and her phone is laying on the floor. Don't tell Garcia yet. I'm gonna head back but we've got to find this girl and we need Garcia at the top of her game."

[Morgan hangs up and the scene switches to Rossi in the round room with Reid, Hotch, JJ, and Prentiss.]

(Rossi) "Morgan asked me not to tell Garcia yet but somebody has to. She needs to know. Lilac is missing. She went to go explain what's been going on to a friend and she was abducted from the scene. It is vital we find her and find her alive."

(JJ) "I'll go tell Garcia. I think other than Morgan she'll take the news best from me."

(Hotch) "JJ, let me go tell her. She'll want to go out and look for her and I'll need to be there to make sure she knows the importance of her being here."

(JJ) "Okay, I'll take Emily and we'll go get her boyfriend Sebastian. Either he took her himself or he's gonna give us whatever information we need to find her."

(Hotch) "Okay, Reid once I'm done talking to her I want you to stay with her. Morgan will need to be with us in the field until we think we've found her. Then I want you to bring her to the scene and we'll send her and Morgan in together. It's our best bet of getting her alive. Garcia is the only one they'll trust."

(Reid) "Okay."

(Rossi) "Aaron come with me. We have to take another look at the files."

(Hotch) "I got to go talk to Garcia first then I'll come. Take Reid in the mean time."

[The scene switches to Hotch walking into Garcia's. She looks back to see him then turns back to her screen.]

(Garcia) "Hiya. How may I be of service oh boss one."

"Penelope."

[Garcia turns her chair around]

"Aaron what's wrong? What happened? Where's Derek?"

"He's alright. This is about Lilac, she's been abducted."

"What? Oh my god."

"Listen I need you to keep your head on straight here."

"This is crazy, what happened to her? Where's Derek?"

[Garcia stands up and starts toward the door but Hotch pushes his arm to the side to reach her shoulder and pull her towards him. Then he takes a step back]

"I need you here. We have some websites we need you to look through for any talk about the program or who took her."

"No I need to find Lilac."

"And this will help. You can't just run out there and expect to find her. We have to work this like any other time."

"Sir, this isn't like any other time."

"Yes it is. Do what you do best. Find this guy through his own world. Because you're the God of the online world. Find us something we can use."
