"I could tell what's on your mind. You don't want me to be kind. You wanna shake the roof of this hotel. You don't have to tell me twice
I'll choke you if you like. A different side of you, and I won't tell"

Felix was a regular human being, or at least he liked to think so.
He lived on a chaotic cocktail of half-assed strength and rapidly evaporating savings, surviving each day like it was some kind of game he didn't sign up to play. His life? A blur of smoke trails, unopened bills, and cereal eaten straight out of the box—because dishes were a thing for tomorrow. Or never.
At twenty-one, Lee Felix was officially a college dropout, officially broke, and unofficially spiraling through life like a stray shopping cart on a windy day. His small apartment in a chill neighborhood wasn't exactly luxury, but hey—it had four walls, a door that locked (sometimes), and a half-working bathroom light. Home sweet home. Technically, it was his older brother Minho's place, but Felix had squatted there long enough to declare his presence a permanent fixture.
Minho, twenty-four and a full-blown workaholic, carried the weight of both their existences on his overachieving back. He juggled two—maybe three?—jobs. Felix stopped keeping track after Minho picked up a late-night gig that made him look like a sleep-deprived ghost in daylight. Still, no matter how hard Minho pushed himself, he always made sure Felix had a roof over his head and a fridge that sometimes had food.
"I'll cover it," Minho always said. "No, I'll get a job," Felix would argue. "And I said no, dumbass." And that was the end of it, every single time.
Felix worked weekends as a barista at a tiny café that paid just enough for him to afford weed, gas station sushi, and the occasional hoodie he didn't need. Not exactly living the dream, but at least he wasn't dead. That counted for something.
He wasn't a people pleaser. Hell, he barely had enough energy to care what people thought. He was reckless, loud, probably borderline insane—but in a fun, please don't give him caffeine kind of way. His close friends were few but loyal. There was Jisung—Minho's boyfriend, which was weird at first but eventually just... fine. Jisung was chaos in human form, which meant he and Felix got along like fire and gasoline.
Then there were the remnants of his high school past: Sunno and Wooyoung. The kind of friends you get drunk with at 2AM and end up sobbing to about your broken dreams. Ride or die types. Especially when it came to stealing shopping carts or breaking into abandoned buildings just to take photos and scream at ghosts.
Felix's daily routine was something between a montage from a sad indie film and a sitcom that should've been canceled after season one. He woke up at noon, smoked a joint on the balcony in his underwear, stared at the sky like it owed him money, and then maybe—maybe—did something productive.
Life wasn't great. But it wasn't completely fucked either.
